Review: 'Incredibles 2'
After waiting 14 years, Pixar decided to start Incredibles 2 with a pretty random interrogation— instantly, I knew Pixar had once again made something different than what I had expected. I’ll be honest, I was quite pessimistic about this one, thinking it was gonna go all Cars 2 on us and be a total flop; I’m more than happy to report that my expectations were both met and slightly exceeded. Pixar isn’t too hot when it comes to sequels, but this one will surely be right up there with the second and third Toy Story as one those that stand above the rest.

'Incredibles 2': Movie Review
Movie sequels are tricky. Old audiences have to be convinced that the original story merited a sequel in the first place, and upon sitting down to view one, have to be convinced that the plot of the movie is worthy of bearing the name of the first. There is also the issue of relevance, which is usually why sequels come out soon after the first movie with a gap of 2 or 3 years. In recent times, franchises like Marvel have shaken it up with sequels to their blockbuster series The Avengers having a gap of around 5 years between each installment, which makes sense given the massive hype surrounding each installment in the series.

'Octonauts': The Dark Secret They Don't Want You To Know
Octonauts is an adorable show, beloved by many children, and it's inspired by seminal sci-fi series, making it ideal for geek parents to put on for their children. It teaches kids about animals in a way that's both fun and smart. But it is undeniable, Octonauts has some weird shit in it.

Thank You, Stephanie Beatriz
As I'm starting to write this, it's already past midnight for a couple of minutes. Browsing on the Internet, I found two recentinterviews (that you all should read) with Stephanie Beatriz, from Brooklyn Nine-Nine, where she talks about her sexuality.

The Summer of Love
If you read comics then you know that there are a couple weddings coming up in both DC Comics and Marvel Comics. So what I'm going to do is talk about why they are happening, why they are important, and what will be the likely aftermath of these weddings. We'll be starting this post with DC Comics because they did it first.

The Lazy Sunday Guide
It’s the weekend yet you don’t feel like going out? Me either (like most Sundays, honestly)! Let’s keep those PJs on, get some popcorn, wine (since we all know a glass a day, keeps the doctor away ;) ) and get into Yoda mode. Many people have been asking me how I got interested in a more sustainable life. From not purchasing clothing of the “season” like most people to trying to produce less to zero trash. Everything I do and purchase is as environmentally friendly as possible. Even if that means doing hours of research about the companies and their practices. I’m not going to lie. I enjoy it. This research frequently leads me to new brands, places, and products that later become my favorite ones. What can I say? I guess I’m what people called a nerd. A sustainable nerd haha.

My Top 5 Geeky Shirts
Wearing geeky shirts are a way to express who I am. In my early 20s, I started to wear them and by the time I turned 30, I had over two dozen shirts. Many people ask me why I wear them and the reasons are obvious: they fit and I love them. I plan to continue wearing geeky shirts forever. On social media, I use #geekyshirtfriday to post which shirt I'll be wearing every Friday. One week it would be a Nintendo shirt and the following week, it would be a Power Rangers shirt. It all depends on the type of mood I'm in. I'm going to share my five best geeky shirts. Hope you enjoy this wonderful list.

What 'Shadowhunters' Means to Me... And So Many Others
It’s been about two and a half weeks since my favorite show, Shadowhunters, was cancelled. I’ve been actively online working with the Save Shadowhunters movement, adding the proper tags to almost all of my tweets — not every single one because I don’t want to get blocked from tweeting into the hashtag. (I even created another account just in case.)
