Rick Riordan: God of Representation
Since the age of 12 I have been obsessed with the Percy Jackson series, and every other mythology series Riordan has released since. Not only does this author’s books have gripping storylines that are entertaining for children (and adults alike), the characters involved in these stories also educate the readers about different cultures, sexualities, genders and races. Riordan’s work has become so important to some readers that in social media sites such as Instagram there are pages dedicated to readers cosplaying his characters as they identify with them so much.

Summary and Review of 'The Sentry #1'
Some people consider The Sentry to be Marvel's Superman, but I feel like he is more comparable to Shazam from DC Comics. I know next to nothing about the Sentry but I do know enough to give you a basic rundown of who his character is and some other supporting characters in The Sentry's mythos. Instead of going over a brief or recent history of the character, I think I know little enough about him that I can The Sentry's origin as we go through the first issue.

15 Times 'Gilmore Girls' Characters Were Awful People
The fictional town of Stars Hollow in Gilmore Girls is known for its tight-knit community of quirky and eccentric characters that could talk a mile a minute. Though most of the time the supporting characters were the beating heart of the show, throughout the show's seven-season run and revival, the majority of the character's, including the Gilmore leading ladies, failed to be nicest of people. Here are ten times the show's characters acted at their worst.

Disney's 'Christopher Robin' Is a Good Way to Waste Time
I feel like I'm supposed to hate this movie, but I don't. If there is one skill that Disney has mastered, it is the ability to sell childhood back to adults. Disney's Christopher Robin exists for that sole purpose. The film, Directed by Marc Forster (Finding Neverland), feels like one relentless pursuit to remind you of the times in your childhood you spent watching Winnie the Pooh; almost half the dialogue is comprised of quotes from A.A. Milne's novel or Disney's classic adaptations. This is a film with enough flaws that I could rip it apart and criticize it until my fingers become attached to my keyboard. And yet, despite it's many flaws, the film works. I don't know how, but it does. Perhaps it is due to the irresistible likability of the characters crafted years ago or maybe the filmmakers on this reboot actually did do something right after all. Regardless, Christopher Robin actually works, really well.

The Screen Going Black Was 'The Sopranos' Only Option
I didn’t have HBO when TheSoprano’s ended, but I certainly heard about the outcome. So I wasn’t that jarred by the screen going black and was pretty accepting of the climax. Now binge-watching the series, I’ve been contemplating a more conventional ending and realize that there might not have been one.
