I Really Want to Like Netflix's New Series 'Disenchantment' But...

What 'Crazy Rich Asians' Meant to Me
Admittedly, I didn't think that watching Crazy Rich Asians would mean as much to me as it did. I grew up in a suburb of Seattle in a pretty well-off neighborhood where I rarely encountered racism. Many of my friends were Chinese-American or Asian-American and proud of it, which meant I grew up ignorant of how difficult it was to be Chinese in some parts of America. I always thought that racism was a problem only regularly encountered by other minorities.

'Designing Women' Is Being Rebooted, But Will the Original Stars Return?
The 1980s were an era of big hair, shoulder pads, and the debut of a smart, sassy sitcom where four women tackled topics that were almost verboten in that time period. 'The End of the F***ing World' Season 2 Is Officially Happening
Season two of The End of the F***ing World was confirmed at this year’s Edinburgh Television Festival following much speculation from fans. It is now definitely happening; all the further important details are yet to be confirmed. Judging by standard production and release timelines, the show could be expected to come back to Channel 4 in the UK roughly mid-way through 2019, before being released on Netflix.

'Veronica Mars' - An Untold Scene
"Veronica Mars, not your average high school student" - Me? I think. I avoided Veronica Mars for a while because I thought it was about some high school kid with super powers. BOY WAS I SO WRONG. To this day it is one of my favorite pilots ever. There's SO much exposition in there yet you don't feel lost in anything that's going on. The mysteries from little to big through out that first season are truly edge of your seat. While this is a high school show, this is no high school show.

'Shameless' Reveals Star Additions to the Cast Ahead of Season 9 Premier
Exciting news broke out today for Shameless fans as it has been revealed that two famous faces shall be added to the cast to shake things up. Since the first six seasons of the Showtime comedy was added to the streaming service Netflix, the Shameless fandom experienced the familiar 'Netflix boom' in viewers that resulted in a demand for more from shows.

'To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before' Review
I just watched To All The Boys I've Loved Before, and it is amazing! I haven't liked a romantic comedy movie since, oh god, I don't remember. I did see the book. I have never read it though. My teacher recommended it, but I never knew what it was about. She only explained a little bit of it, but I was like, "Nah, I'm good." I should have read it. I really do regret not reading all the books because all three were in her library.

'Captain Scarlet and the Mysterons' - Spectrum File 1 Review
The second part of Big Finish's celebrations of 50 years of Captain Scarlet and the Mysterons are The Spectrum Files, three enhanced audiobooks of Captain Scarlet novels that were published in 1967. The first of these, simply titled Captain Scarlet and the Mysterons, is a globe-trotting adventure with a Bond-esque touch, and features a very novel Mysteron plan. However, it also feels strangely distant from the show as seen on screen and it also feels rather poorly plotted and paced, meaning that it's near four-and-a-half-hour run time does drag considerably, despite the excellent production.
