Krystal Mosley portrays Crystal on 'The Young and the Restless'

She began as a nameless woman working at the Grand Phoenix on THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS. She poured drinks and answered phones without uttering a word. Eventually, she spoke a few lines and fans became outraged that she wears the same green dress every day and no one knew her name. Eventually, it was revealed that she is known as Crystal but not much else is known about this character.

Some fans wonder if there is some secret about her that will be revealed at a future date or if she will ever interact with the other Genoa City residents? Viewers are wondering if Crystal simply will flitter around the Grand Phoneix always in the background never having an active role in the CBS daytime drama? There is now additional information that has come to light regarding the woman who works for Phyllis Summers. Her name is Krystal Mosley but she has no idea if she is related to Karla Mosley who portrayed Maya Avant Forrester on THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL.

Krystal is married but no information on her spouse is available. She grew up in Chicago, Illinois, and attended the Univerisity of Illinois. where she graduated with a BFA. (Bachelor in Fine Arts). She moved to Los Angeles after graduation and has been living there for eight years. Prior to joining THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS in 2019 the actress had roles in CHECKMATE (2011), DHOOM, 3 (2013), and RAYVEN CHOI (2016).

She also has filmed scenes in a movie titled THE NEON HIGHWAY that stars Beau Bridges and featues a number of Country music artists.. In this flick Kystal is a receptionist at Rex recordings. The movie is curently in post-production and the actress is excited about the upcoming release.

Nothing has been mentioned about Crystal having a bigger role in THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS. Many viewers probably do not even realize that she has been around for close to two years. Viewers have been saying that if she is going to be around for a while Crystal needs to have a speaking role as well as a a differnt dress. Some fans have wondered why there are no 2 or 3 additional employees at The Grand Phoenix who could rotate with Mosley's character to keep things looking more realistic.

Krystal Mosely admitted to SOAP DIRT that she loves being a part of the Genoa City action and would jump at the chance of a larger role if offered. Now that the Kyle and Summer storyline is coming to an end Phyllis will need something else to sink er teeth into. Once Skyle reunites and Tara and Sally are busted there will certainly be a lull in the action for a while. Viewers are saying on Social Media that they ae becoming bored with Marriah's storyline because it is taking too long to play out. Now that Phyllis is back in rare form the writers should give her something else to focus on that will utilize her skills.

Something exciting needs to take place at The Grand Phoenix that Crystal can be a part of. There has already been a hostage situation so perhaps there might be a murder mystery.
