NKirsten Storms steps away from GH again
Kirsten Storms has taken multiple leaves of absence from her role as Maxie Jones on *General Hospital.* Over the past decade, her time away has been due to various reasons, including pregnancy, doctor's orders related to stress that caused her skin to break out, complications from COVID-19, a cyst on her brain, an injury to her hand from an accident with a trash bag, and a much-needed break.
According to *Soap Opera Digest*, the veteran actress is expected to make another temporary exit. Storms has shared her journey of working since the age of 14, starring in the Xenon films and the pressure of becoming the primary breadwinner for her family.
She initiated her soap career as Belle Black on *Days of Our Lives,* and she was the voice of the main character in Disney’s animated show *Kim Possible.* Additionally, she has appeared on *7th Heaven* and various other television shows.
