Johnny Depp Movies I Will Never (Ever) Shut The Fudge Up About
I can't help it. He's been my favorite actor since I was a child. This man raised me and I'm not about to let him become a faded memory.

Johnny Depp.
The man. The talent. The legend.
This man of many talents raised me, and boy did I let that slowly grow from movie fanatic to big-time celebrity crush.
Mr. Johnny Depp has been that actor I've never learned how to grow out of. From falling in love with any character he's played on screen to defending him from those who believed an abuser over him despite the evidence helping his case over hers, I never stopped obsessing over this man. I could talk about him all day, every day and boy have I (let's just say, my mom has just started to let out a long sigh any time I see anything Johnny Depp related in a store whenever I shop).
1. 21 Jump Street
I know this isn't a movie of his, but the tv show 21 Jump Street definitely hits my soft spot for all things Johnny Depp. If you haven't already seen this show, I highly recommend you go download Peacock right now and binge the heck out of it.
Although his cameo in 21 Jump Street (film) is definitely worth mentioning as well.. let's be real.
2. Nightmare on Elm Street
Now, although I do love to watch horror movies, Freddy Kruger has always given me horrible nightmares to the point where I definitely should watch his movie series at all. This alone should show just how dedicated I am to Johnny Depp, himself, because let me tell ya that I have watched this movie simply just to see Johnny in a crop top way too many times.

3. Crybaby
Crybaby will probably always be one of my all-time favorite Johnny films, and I will stand by this all my life. It's just.. the concept, the plotline, the songs.. everything about this movie just screams 'cannot turn it off'. Not to mention, Johnny as a greaser "bad boy" really does add the cherry on top.
4. What's Eating Gilbert Grape
The day I first discovered this movie's existence, I rewatched the movie every day for two weeks straight. With that, this movie automatically made it's way up to one of my top choices for movies that Johnny Depp has starred in.
A huge bonus is the fact that a smol Leonardo Dicaprio stars in this film as well.
5. Secret Window
If you love Thrillers in general, I highly recommending finding this film for your next movie night. Not only is it definitely one of his greatest works, considering the acting in this film is absolutely superb (and I won't say anything to avoid spoilers), but boy does this film know just how to put you on the edge of your seat the entire duration of the movie.
6. Pirates of the Caribbean (literally all five films)
Jack Sparrow. That is all. Of course, there are other reasons to watch this movie collection but let's be real.. we all watch for Jack Sparrow. Why else would there be a worldwide disappointment when Johnny announced that POTC wasn't going to bring him back for the next film. Pirates of The Caribbean would be nothing without Johnny Depp.. I will forever stand by this opinion.
7. Ed Wood
This is one of the movies Johnny has done that deserves way more hype than I've seen it get. I mean, I won't lie.. I mostly favor this film for the way Johnny looks in it but c'mon.. how does this movie not have as much love as others would have?
An iconic date night I'd love to have is someone coming over with this movie on DVD and some popcorn like, "Wanna watch?"
8. Edward Scissorhands
I have never met a single person who doesn't love this movie. Not saying those people don't exist.. it just feels rare to hear someone say "Edward Scissorhands is not a good movie".
It's not one of my all-time favorite films that Johnny had been in (in my own opinion), but it is still way up there at the top of the list. Although, if I'm being completely honest.. if the film stares Johnny Depp (even if Johnny had the tiniest part), that film will instantly become one of my favorite films.
9. Benny and Joon
To this day I still don't know if I actually love this movie, or if I am just in love with Johnny Depp as Benny. Either way, this film needs to be on your list of must watch movies.
10. Charlie and the Chocolate Factory
Now, I won't deny it; Johnny Depp's version of this film will never come close to Gene Wilder's version. No matter how much I love Johnny, I will always have this close childhood love for Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory.. but this film deserves to be on the list simply for the reason that anytime it's on tv I will never be able to change the channel.
**
Thank you for taking the time to read this article. I have many movies starring Johnny Depp on the list of films I'd never stfu about, but I found this article hiding away in my drafts and figured I should just get this out for others to find and read.
I hope I helped at least one person out there find a new movie to add to their next movie night.
