Jenz Sidwell has an agenda for bribing the judge and getting Michael custody of his children

What is Sidwell really up to?

General Hospital recently revealed that Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) bribed Judge Eva Heran (Tessa Auberjonois) to grant Michael Corinthos full custody of his children. The motive behind this action remains unclear, but there are several potential reasons why Sidwell might have taken this course of action. It's not likely that he will be crowned the new mob boss and take over.

The current Port Charles villain has expressed a desire to gain the territory being run by Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), who firmly rejected him. This indicates that Sidwell might resort to drastic measures to have his way. One possibility is that he could blackmail Sonny into giving him what he wants.

Could Michael lose his children to Willow?

If Sonny refuses, Sidwell might persuade the judge to claim that either Sonny or Michael blackmailed her, which would result in Willow Corinthos (Katelynn Macmullen) gaining full custody.

It's also possible that Jenz is feeling guilty for bombing Sonny's apartment, which caused Michael to be injured. Another theory suggests that Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) might be collaborating with the new owner of Wyndemere, and they have a plan to reverse the power dynamics against Sonny and Michael.

Whatever his reasons, Sidwell is unlikely to be acting out of goodwill. He might even reveal to Sonny that he blackmailed the judge, creating a sense of obligation on Sonny’s part.

Sonny won't take this lying down

Sonny, however, does not take kindly to blackmail and will likely team up with Jason to find a way to neutralize Sidwell as a threat. Additionally, there has been someone lurking around baby Daisy's nursery at the Quartermaine home, raising suspicions that she may have been wrongly mixed up with another child at the hospital on purpose. Is Jenz behind these incidents in an attempt to gain attention from the Corinthos family?

While Sonny has stated that he wants to exit the business, he is unwilling to sell to this new enemy. A confrontation between Sonny and Jenz could lead to serious consequences, such as Jenz being killed or possibly going to prison.

The crooked ADA and Sidwell could team up

ADA Justine Turner (Nazeen Contractor) is also targeting Sonny, currently blackmailing Natalie Ramirez (Eva LaRue), who has promised not to snitch. If Turner and Sidwell align, it could complicate matters for Sonny, although history suggests he typically manages to escape unscathed while his enemies face repercussions.

So what are Sidwell's true intentions? Will he compel the judge to lie about being blackmailed by Sonny or Michael, jeopardizing Michael’s custody of his children? How does Drew fit into this narrative, and how far will he go to regain Willow's kids?

All will be revealed in time

Is it possible that Sidwell has a kind bone in his body, feels responsible for Michael’s injuries, and is making amends? Viewers are still uncertain whether he was behind the bombing or if there is an even more dangerous adversary at play.

All that is known for certain is that all will be revealed in time and Sidwell is not a keeper. He is not likely to remain in Port Chuck long-term. He will be out one way or another, whether he leaves town, is killed, or goes to prison.

What will Selina Wu (Lydia Look) and the other heads of the Five Families have to say about all of this? Is a mob war on the way, and can Sonny leave without repercussions?
