The actress should be back in her role as Steffy by the end of May sweeps.

Spoilers for The Bold and the Beautiful have announced that Jacqueline Macinnes Woods will soon be back in action on the CBS daytime drama. Wood gave birth to her second baby boy on February 21 of this year and while on maternity leave, her character Steffy and her daughter Kelly have been out of town visiting relatives. It's looking like Wood will return to her role in late May just in time to get in on May Sweeps according to spoilers. Based on the current situation with the Forresters, Spencers, and Logans, it seems Steffy will come back to town and be involved in a whirlwind of events.
It's not clear if she has been kept in the loop but while Steffy has been away, a lot of drama has been taking place in LA. Her fiancee Dr. Finn found the dead body of Vinny in the morgue and called Thomas to ID him. Her baby daddy Liam and his father Dollar Bill are the reason Vincent Walker is dead. Chief Baker is on the case and spoilers say that Detective Sanchez will also soon be investigating the crime. At this point, the police believe someone deliberately ran down the best friend of Steffy's brother Thomas and tampered with evidence.
Law enforcement searched the crime scene as well as Vinny's home and could not find his wallet and cell phone. This has them believing that whoever murdered Vinny got rid of the phone and wallet on purpose. Liam told Dollar Bill that he would not be able to think of everything and he was correct. This one move was a big mistake and eventually, all roads will lead straight to Bill Spencer and his son. Steffy's reaction to all of this will most likely be one of shock. Vinny switched the paternity results and was her personal drug dealer but he was also the best friend of her brother fr0om childhood.
Steffy will return to find her brother on the warpath and determined to find out who killed his buddy. Liam, her baby daddy is off the rails with guilt and hallucinating that Vinny is haunting him. The police might begin investigating Forrester Creations as spoilers say that Charlie will find something on a surveillance tape that is helpful. Some fans believe the information will exonerate Thomas while others think it could incriminate Bill and Liam.
Many who watch The Bold and the Beautiful are wondering how long Steffy and Finn's romance will last and if they will really make it to the alter. If Hope turns to Thomas after all is said and done, some fans believe Steffy will follow her old pattern of running back to Kelly's dad. Whatever is in store for the character, B&B viewers will be happy to see Jackie Woods back on the screen.
The actress began her role of Steffy Forrester in 2008 and has received four Daytime Emmy Award nominations. she starred in her first feature film, Final Destination 5 in 2011, In 2019 she won in the category of Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series for her role as Steffy on B&B. Wood married Elan Ruspoli, in July 2018. and their first son was born in March 2019, Congratulations to Jacquiline Macinnes Wood on the birth of her second son. Her fans wish her well and cannot wait to see what lies in store when Steffy returns to LA.
May sweeps, leading up to Steffy's return promise to be exciting as the investigation into Vinny's death continues. Spoilers as well as viewers are expecting some type of twist to this story and do not believe Dollar Bill or Liam will go down for the crime. The consensus seems to be that someone else really killed Vinny but right now there are no suspects. Could it possibly have been the good doctor who was angry that Mr. Walker in his life and caused problems with Steffy? This would be a way to remove Finn from the scene and get Steffy back with Liam.
