Is Kate Mansi leaving General Hospital?

Ever since Kate Mansi left her role of Abigail Dimera on Days of Our Lives, in May of 2020, rumors of her return have not ceased. Once Cat Greene (AnnaLynn McCord) was revealed to have been lying about being Chad Dimera's (Billy Flynn) allegedly deceased wife, the rumblings became stronger.

There are Facebook notifications stating that Mansi is leaving Port Charles to return to Salem, but this has not been verified by credible sources. Some fans of both soaps are wondering if there is any truth to the rumors.

After leaving DOOL behind, Mansi joined General Hospital in May of 2023, as a recast for Lindsay Morgan as Kristina Corinthos Davis. Recent actions by the character have reignited the rumors that Mansi might leave Port Charles and return to Salem.

No official statement has been released

There has been no official news from Peacock or ABC, but soap fans believe the handwriting is on the wall. On DOOL, Abby's body has not been located. The fact that there has been no closure has viewers saying the character will possibly resurface at some point.

Flynn has left Days of Our Lives and is portraying Cane Ashby on the CBS soap The Young and the Restless. Conner Floyd's Y&R character Chance Chancellor recently was murdered, and he will be the new Chad on Days. This has given hope to fans that Abigail will eventually turn up alive and well and reunite with her husband.

Meanwhile, on General Hospital, Kristina's recent choices have led viewers to consider that she might be heading to prison. She cut the brake line on Ric Lansing's (Rick Hearst) vehicle because it was parked in the spot Ava Jerome (Maura West) uses. Ric and Liz Webber (Rebecca Herbst) were hurt when the brakes failed.

Ava and Ric found out the truth and have been blackmailing Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn). Kristina is paying Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) money to flirt with Ava and send Rick into Liz's orbit. She believes she can divide and conquer and stop the blackmail.

In doing so, she has driven a wedge between Cody and Molly, who seemed to like each other. Kristina continues to call the baby she lost, Adela, even though her sister named the child Irene. She remains manipulative and is now playing God with her sibling's romantic life.

Will Kristina pay for her crimes?

Some General Hospital viewers say they hope she is exposed and goes to jail, but this would also expose Rick and Ava and set a lot of drama in motion. Ava has been noticing how Ric lights up when Elizabeth is around, and she has asked Alexis to meet her without her partner in crime.

Ava has turned on Ric and is attempting to work out a deal with Alexis, who pointed out that the lawyer could still cause trouble for her daughter. it looks like Kristina might get away with her crimes the same way her dad Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) has.
