The former General Hospital actor told his fans they would be hearing from him soon and now he has made his move.

Ingo Rademacher: Taking it to the courts
Soap Hub is reporting information they received from TMZ regarding an update to Ingo Rademacher's current situation. Both are reporting that the former General Hospital actor has fi[led a lawsuit against ABC. You can read the articles by clicking on the two following links. Soap vet Rademacher told his followers last week that they would soon be hearing more from him and some fans assumed he was referring to a new role. Other viewers were skeptical that he would be hired right now due to the conflicts regarding the COVID vaccine.
Now it's clear that Rademacher was referring to litigation against his former employer. This is not to say that the actor will not find another role and some of his followers are hoping he will return to The Bold and the Beautiful as Thorne Forrester. CBS and NBC have not announced COVID any mandates but if they are inforcing them this would prevent Rademacher from being hired on another soap at this time.
Rademacher says the vaccine mandate i unconstitutional and that he asked to be exempt for religious reasons but was denied. The actor did not indiicate which religion he is a part of or why that should make him exempt from the vaccine. Steve Burton was also let go from General Hospital because he would not get the COVID vaccine and he too tried to get a religious exemption,
Ingo Rademacher: Standing by his views and not backing down
Rademacher said the COVID-19 lockdowns were the “most draconian restrictions in modern history.” He is asking the Los Angeles court to proclaim ABC’s vaccine mandate as “unconstitutional” and he wants damages.
The controversy surrounding COVID continues to have people trying to finf the fine line between prtsonal choice and the safety of others. Some GH fans believe Rademacher and hhis fomer castmate Burton have the right to refuse the vaccine while others say they were putting co-workers at risk. Burton actually said that he caught COVID on the General Hospital set but it was never stated who he got the vicrus from. He has recovered although a number of fans say that in photos he still looks as if he is dealing with health issues.
General Hospital: Viewers disagree
There are fans of the ABC soap who are outspoken like Nancy Lee Grahn who portrays Alexis Davis on the soap who says not being vaccinated affects everyone you come in contact with. In addition on social media, GH fans are discussing the recent death of Marcus Lamb who found the Daystar television network. Lamb spoke out against COVID and advised his followers not to be vaccinated and last week the televangelist died of COVID.
Rademacher seems to believe that the lockdowns were unnecessary but we will never know how many lives they saved. If those working for the city of Los Angeles who are handling the lawsuit are for COVID vaccinations they will agree with the actions of ABC and Rademacher's lawsuit may not stand a chance.Perhaps he already knows that and is simply making a statement for personal rights.
On General Hospital Jasper "Jax" Jacks was not killed off and has returned to Australia. This leaves the door open for a recast or possible return but unlike Steve Burton who said he would love to come back to GenerHospital, Rademacher has made no such statement. The lawsuit has probably sealed the deal so that he would not be welcome back on General Hospital. Still, there is a chance that down the road the differences could be worked out. One thing soap fans know is to never say never.
