By HVPublished 5 years ago 3 min read

The DC Universe could be a series of DC comic movies which are released over the past 7 years. DC Universe is expanding in 2021, with Zack Snyder’s Justice League releasing in March 2021. The primary movie within the series was Man of Steel – the Christopher Nolan-produced. The Dc Universe has seen a resurgence over the past few years.

The original aim was to make a two-part Justice League by Snyder, but it never completed and this concept was dropped. providing with the discharge of the new wonder woman 1984 movie there's no better time to catch abreast of, or rewatch, the DC movies all over again.

If you're new to DC Universe or you're attending to watch all the films in release date order or planning a chronological rewatch- or simply confused about how the stand-alone movies fit into this- we got your back. Here could be a list of films to observe in chronological order and followed by the order of release date of flicks.

1. Wonder Woman

The events of wonder woman pre-date the events of all the DC movies by a large margin. The film flashes way back to point out the creation of the Amazon women warriors by Zeus, who live on the island of Themyscira.

This move takes us back by a century. After meeting Steve Trevor she leaves her home to fight in the war against god Ares. When the war ends, she comes to the conclusion that all problems can't be solved and goes underground.

2. Wonder Woman 1984

The sequel Wonder Woman 1984 takes place largely in the year 1984. There is no scope for several DCEU tie-ins, however, because the Patty Jenkins-directed sequel mostly stands on its own. Princess Diana will be going after the villainous Cheetah. it looks like the movie will lean on the comic's plot surrounding Maxwell Lord and Brother Eye

3. Man of Steel

Clark Kent is known to the world as Superman in Man of Steel started the age of superheroes in the DC Universe. The movie starts by showing the destruction of Kal-El’s home planet Krypton, and that we subsequently see scenes of Clark Kent as a child and teenager growing up in Kansas before we get to “present-day”, fighting General Zod and his invading Kryptonian forces.

4. Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice

This movie depicts the primary encounter between middle-aged Batman and Henry Cavill's Superman. Bruce Wayne and Clark begin as enemies, most of the film’s story takes place about 18 months after the events of Man of Steel, with Batman now extremely angry and holding a grudge against Superman.

5. Suicide Squad

The events of Suicide Squad happen a year after the events of Batman v Superman because the death of Superman is referenced within the film. In response to the emergence of recent metahumans, agent Amanda Waller enlists a gaggle of criminals to function as a 'Suicide Squad' that may give the US a fighting chance against any rogue superheroes. we also get to see cameos from flash and Batman.

6. Justice League

The events of Justice happen a couple of years after Batman vs Superman. We also get to see a flashback thousands of years ago when the villain Steppenwolf attempted to take over Earth and was stopped by an alliance between Amazons, Atlanteans, humans, and Olympian Gods. Superman also returns back in this movie and they all together again stop the villain Steppenwolf.

7.Aquaman

Aquaman is a standalone movie that takes place several months after the events of Justice League, Jason Momoa’s The Aquaman protects his own kingdom. But there are also flashbacks that show Aquaman’s origin story.

In response to the emergence of recent metahumans, agent Amanda Waller enlists a bunch of criminals to function as a 'Suicide Squad' which will give the US a fighting chance against any rogue superheroes.
