General Hospital viewers have been suspecting for quite a while that Cyrus had his hand in a recent medical situation. It was never addressed on screen and Renault moved on to other challenges. Now, according to spoilers from Celeb Dirty Laundry, these fans were correct and the wrong that was done is about to be set right. This will be a cause for celebration for one Port Charles family who is currently dealing with a life and death situation.

Many fans of the ABC daytime drama suspected from day one that Cyrus tampered with the DNA test that revealed that Chase was the son of Finn and not Gregory and now this is about to be proven to be true. The drug kingpin was livid after Jackie wrote a story about his mother Florence in the Invader. She stood up to Cyrus and would not back down which infuriated him even more. Chase left the samples in a public area of the hospital and viewers knew what Cyrus would do, and he did.

Spoilers indicate that something will happen in the hospital related to Detective Chase that will reveal the fact that Finn is his brother and not his dad. As is usually the case, the detective will probably need some blood and this is when the deception will reveal itself. Gregory was heartbroken to find out that Jackie slept with Finn the night before she was supposed to marry him. He was devastated when the DNA results indicated that his oldest son was the biological father of his youngest son and he was now Chase's grandfather.

The family has done a great job of trying to remain civil to each other in the midst of this dysfunctional situation. They decided to put up a united front for Violet and they all went out together to eat and Chase drank from a cup of poison that was meant for Finn. Time is running out and Peter August is refusing to give Anna the antidote. Meanwhile, Willow and Michael are keeping their relationship secret because Chase believes he still has a chance with his former girlfriend.

Michael and willow are doing what they believe is best for Chase and Anna and Anna is trying her best to get Peter to give her the antidote before it's too late. The paternity results are not at the forefront of anyone's mind at this time, but soon the truth will be revealed and this family will have some joy in the midst of all of their sorrow. If antidote stops Chase from dying and he finds out that Gregory is his dad he will be ecstatic. Of course there is the fact that Willow and Michael are in love which will put a damper on the good news, but that will come much later.

Finn is running lab work and attempting to find an antidote to save his son/brother's life but as of Tuesday, he was unsuccessful. The only hope seems to be for Anna to obtain the cure from her demented nephew Peter August. She told Maxie the entire truth and enlisted her assistance. This does not, however, indicate that Peter will stick to his word.

In order for Cyrus Renault's deception to come to light, there will probably be a need for Chase to be given blood and when Finn is not a match but Gregory is, the DNA test will be run again. It's not clear how the family will figure out that Cyrus is the one who had the test tampered with. In the Cyrus meantime, the reveal that Gregory is Chase's father after all will be a cause for celebration in the family and they could use some good news right now.
