General Hospital: Fans believe Brad can become a mob boss

On General Hospital Brad Cooper (Parry Shen) has been a follower and shown no leadership qualities. Since it was revealed that he might be released from prison there has been wild speculation over what his return to Port Charles will mean. In the past, Brad has made some bad decisions but he has never been malicious in his actions.

Cooper allowed both Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier)and Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) to influence his decisions and now is under the thumb of his mob princess aunt Selina Wu (Lydia Look). Most General Hospital viewers don't believe Brad has what it takes to be a leader and there is always the chance he will remain just as he is. Some fans as well as spoilers see potential in Shen's character if the writers decide to change his direction.

Brad is a man scorned

Brad is intimidated by his aunt and does not want any problems from the Corinthos family but this could change. He has been to Pentonville and paid for his crime but has also lost a lot in the process. On Valentine's Day Felix Dubois (Mark Anthony Samuel) told Brad that he had a chance to turn his life around but the question is in which direction will he go?

Britt has been trying to keep her BFF on the right path but who knows what rage Brad is holding inside? He lost his job at the hospital and Lucas Jones (Ryan Carnes) as well as the Wiley Corinthos ( the son he loved so much. Brad has to start over but could be very bitter about how everything turned out. Deep down he is a man scorned and the mob is in his DNA.

Brad's father, Selina's brother was a mob boss who ran the Triad but Brad was raised by the Cooper family and kept away from the family business. It's clear that his aunt has some type of agenda where he is concerned but Selina has not yet made her plans clear. She is out of town and might have to face the wrath of Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) when she returns to Port Charles.

Brad may have to deal with the Corinthos clan

Wu's failed hit on Peter August (Wes Ramsey) is what has led to this last round of drama where Maxie is trying to escape from her mad man baby daddy. If Sonny comes at Wu for her role in current events would Brad have what it takes to defend his aunt? Sonny has a lot on his mind right now as he is stuck between Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) who wants a divorce and Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) who simply wants Sonny.

Selina can hold her own but the writers could set up a situation where her nephew has to defend her honor and prove if he can step up. General Hospital viewers are saying they would like to see Cooper get a backbone and show some strength and this could possibly happen down the road. There are others who watch the ABC soap that do not believe Brad has what it takes to be a leader.

These fans say he will continue to allow women to make his decisions for him. One scenario that might cause conflict is if Brad happens to run into Wiley out somewhere with Willow or Michael. He will certainly have some type of encounter with Sonny or Carly at some point.

He is also likely to be somewhere in Port Charles, where he will surely see the child he used to call his own. The writers could send Brad to the dark side and bring out characteristics that even he was not aware of. Be on the lookout for General Hospital spoilers and updates related to what will happen next for Parry Shen's character.
