General Hospital Fans Speak Out

On various social media platforms, General Hospital viewers have been discussing the marriage of Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) and Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero). Some fans are hopeful the duo will work out their differences and get back together. Others desire to see her with Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) but on Friday he seemed to let her down gently, A majority of those who watch the ABC soap, are saying that Oliva is acting like a spoiled child and Ned needs to kick her to the curb.

It's understandable that Olivia was hurt when Ned slept with Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahan0 but that was over a year ago. During this period of time, Ned has begged, groveled, and tried purchasing his wife expensive items all to prove he loves her. Fans are saying that Olivia does not have the right to be so self-righteous and keep Ned in suspense for so long.

General Hospital Viewers Believe Olivia Should Leave The Mansion

On Friday Ned made his wife aware of the fact that he was underwriting an art exhibit at Ava Jerome's (Maura West Gallery) and the proceeds would help animals, He also gave Olivia an artwork piece that features a dog because she is an animal lover. No matter how hard he tries, Ned comes away feeling bad about himself because his spouse is so self absorbed. Robert has been flirting with her and even kissed her but when she talked about leaving ned DA Scorpio put the brakes on.

Robert told Olivia she was infatuated with the idea of him being a spy and living a life of adventure but that she was not in love with him. She disagreed and Robert brought up the possibility that Ned is right and that her son Leo Falconeri (Easton Rocket Sweda) might be Autistic. Robert asked if she was prepared to be wrong about her son and how would her marriage be affected if a doctor concurred that the child was on the Autism spectrum?

Robert Scorpio Is Not Interested

Ned gave Olivia a ticket to the art exhibit that was put together by Trina Robinsons (Sydney Makala) but it's not clear whether or not she will go. Olivia told Robert that Ned never takes her side so she is still focused only on what she wants. An entire year is a long time to live in a different wing of the house from your spouse and viewers say it's time Olivia makes a move or Ned does it for her. Robert does not seem to want a long-term relationship so he might begin making himself scarce around the Quartermaine mansion. This is another sore spot for General Hospital viewers who don't believe Robert should be flirting with Oliva in Ned's home.

For an entire year, Ned has gone out of his way to prove he is sorry for sleeping with Alexis and to prove to his wife that he has changed. Olivia has accepted all of his gestures but refuses to forgive him. Perhaps she will consider the wise words from Robert and realize that he will not be a substitute for Ned. It could be that by the time she comes to her senses ned will decide he has had enough. Alexis has just been released from prison so this could add another wrinkle to the storyline.

Alexis Davis Might Be A Problem Again

Olivia might put up more walls now that she has to see the other woman around town as it might keep the wound fresh. The writers might even have Ned and Alexis fall back into bed again which would destroy any chance of a reconciliation between Ned and Olivia. Spoilers are not giving any details about this Quartermaine marriage but if some viewers have their way Ned would put Olivia out of his family home and move on.
