BLQ's nurses ball attire draws attenntion

Brook Lynn Quartermaine's attire for the General Hospital Nurses Ball sparks debate online. A few people have had issues with Amanda Setton's charvcter's outfit. Others say she looks as good as the other attendees, and some blame the wardrobe department for their BLQ dress choice.

Setton joined the GH cast in 2019 and went on maternity leave in 2020. When she returns, viewers begin to notice her character's clothing. Brook Lynn was usually all black, and everything was loose, as if she were still pregnant. Some fans assumed she may have had issues with her post-pregnancy weight.

Amanda Setton's style has changed

Last year, when Setton wore a black dress with only her forearms showing to the Oscars it was revealed that she did not want to bare her flesh or have explicit love scenes with Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard). Previously, she was seen on the red carpet in more revealing attire, but now it is rumored she wants to remain covered up because of her Jewish faith.

Whatever the reason, many fans say it's her choice, and she should not be judged. Still, it should be noted that the characters in General Hospital don't choose their own clothing, so it falls on the wardrobe department. Some viewers say they can honor Setton's wishes with better choices, but perhaps the choices reflect BLQ's style rather than the actress's.

Are the sytles the choice of the wardrobe department

Amanda looked beautiul at the Oscars with her husband James Wolk. Some General Hospital fans said they applaud her for not following trends and bearing all. It's refreshing for some viewers to see grace and elegance rather than T&A. Still, the 2025 Nurses Ball outfit worns by Brook Lynn was not a fan favorite.

Setton may have said she would not wear revealing clothing but the wardrobe department is prbably choosing what Brook Lynn wears. Some Days of Our Lives fans say they don't like that Marlena Evans wears two piece suits where the jacket and pants match.

This style was popular in the late 1980s and 1990s and the colors of Marlena's outfits look dated. Deidre Hall has no problem with the way wardroe dresses her because her character has worn this style for decades.

Jordan's gown was a hit with GH viewers.

Opinions varied on red carpet attire

Some General Hospital viewers also said that Tracy, with all her money and class, should have been dressed more elegantly for the Nurses ball. Jordan Ashford (Tanish Harper) was given as an example of a stylish red carpet-gown.As they say beauty is in the eye of the beholder and no two opinions are alike.

Amanda Setton has not addressed the specifics of BLQ's attire or why her views have changed in recent years. Perhaps she is rethinking revealing outfits now that she is a mother of three.

BLQ's life is about to change

The General Hospital Nurses Ball continues and explosive revelations are coming. Brook Lynn is about to find out that the young man she has loved and nurtured all of her life is the son she gave up for adoption. Be sure you tune in to the annual gala so you don't miss oneminujte of the drama thyat's about to unfold.

BLQ's life is about to blow up in her face when she realizes those closest to her deceived her about her child. Her relationships with friends and close relationsions will never be the same. Still, some viewers will focus on her attire just as much as the storyline dialogue That's just the way it is with daytime drama and the viewers who watch.
