General Hospital Update: Molly turns to Cody after she becomes furious about Alexis and Kristina's actions
One again the the Davis girls will be at odds with one another because of their mother.
Alexis chooses Kritina over Molly again
Next week on General Hospital, Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) will once again put the welfare of her daughter with Sonny Corinthos ( Maurice Benard) over what's best for the daughter she had with Ric Lancing (Rick Hearst). Aexis believes her youngest daughter is fragile and that the older sister can handle herself. She does not believe she is playing favorites althoughy many fans say she is.
The former DA will make the drastic decision to commit Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) to a mental health facility. Kristina cut the brakes on Ric's vehicle because she thought it belonged to Ava Jerome (Maura West).
After Ava tried to blackmail Alexis, Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennessy) suggested that Kristina be committed, which would keep her from going to jail. This decision will rattle Molly Lansing-Davis (Kristen Vaganos), who turns to Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) for support.
Molly will be furious
Molly will probably vent about her mother always choosing Kristina and never allowing her sibling to face consequences. She will also be angry that her father and Liz Webber (Rebecca Herbst) are in the hospital because of her sister. Kristina's bad choices have cost Molly her baby, her relationship with TJ Ashford (Taj Bellow), and almost killed her dad.
Each time Molly forgives her sibling and attempts to mend fences, Kristina does something different to cause trouble, and Alexis excuses her. What she did this time was attempted murder, and General Hospital viewers say it's time she pays for her crimes.
Several people know the truth, including Lucky Spencer (Jonathan Jackson). He is furious because Liz was hurt. Hopefully, Kristina will get the help she needs and admit that Ava did not push her out of the window. Ava had a mechanic lie and say the car was destroyed, but she still has it and will use this to cause trouble.
Fans are not feeling Molly and Cody
Many GH viewers say they don't see chemistry between Molly and Cody and don't want them to be a couple. However, the writers have been throwing them together a lot in recent months, so a romance is probably going to happen.
Molly is a stickler for the law and tries to follow the rules, while Cody is a gambler who can't seem to stay out of trouble. They don't have anything in common, but the writers seem to plan to have them grow closer. GH fans have complained about how the writers don't know what to do with Cody.
Will Cody find real love?
Bell was in love with Sasha Gilmore (Sophia Mattsson), and they were a beloved couple until it was revealed that they were first cousins—this upset viewers who wondered why the storyline went in that direction. Josh Kelly said in an interview that he would not have minded if hsi character slept with Sasha if it was before they found out they were related.
He even said he would not have a problem being paired with Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot). It looked like Cody and Lulu Spencer (Alexis Havins Bruening) were poised to become a couple, but that did not happen, and they seemed content as friends.
Do Molly and Cody have a future?
Will Molly and Cody have a meaningless one-night stand, or could they fall in love and have a serious relationship? Could Ms. Lansing-Davis's influence keep Cody away from Selina Wu (Lydia Look) and out of trouble, or will his actions become a conflict of interest?
