General Hospital Shocker: Many lives will be upended with the Gio paternity reveal

The time is near for the biggest revelation on General Hospital to come to light, and it will affect practically everyone in Port Charles one way or another. Gio Palmieri's ( Giovani Maza) paternity is about to be exposed. Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) wanted Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) to look for her great-grandson, but he turned her down. Tracy said she would find someone else, and spoilers tease she may turn to Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson).

They have no idea the latest Quartermaine heir is living under their roof, and the truth is about to be revealed. Lulu Spencer Falconeri (Alexa Havins (Burening) is determined to prove that Gio is Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zampragna) and Brook Lynn Quartermaine's (Amanda Setton) child. However, when this is revealed, it will change many lives.

Many Port Charles residents will feel betrayed

Tracy will be shocked at the news and unnerved that Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) is the grandfather of her great-grandson. Sonny has been supporting Gio financially as a family friend whose parents died. He did not know that he was helping his grandchild.

Sonny may hot be as angry as expected because he just had heart surgery and wants to get otu of the mob and concentrate on family. Still the ews will stun him.

Brook Lynn will be angry at Lois Cerullo (Rena Sofer) for allowing her son to grow up in the family and never telling her. Dante did not know BLQ was pregnant when they left Summer Camp. He will be furious to find out he was a teenage father, that it was kept from him, and that his son was around him every day, but he was not aware of who he was.

Olivia was completely out of the loop

Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) will also be stunned that her best friend Lois kept this secret and did not let her know they shared a grandchildand that she has watched him grow up. Dante will be furious with BLQ, and Lois for keeping him in the dark and things may never be the same.

Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) will defend his wife which may case tensions between him and Detective Falconeri. Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) knew Brook Lynn was pregnant but was unaware of the details. Still, this will affect his relationship with Dante, who may believe Cody should have told him.

The fallout will continue

Rocco Falconeri ( Finn Carr) will have to adjust to an older brother, and when Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) returns he will have a new nephew. Gio will be all over the place. Uncle Sonny is his grandfather, while BLQ and Dante, whom he considered family, are his parents.

He will also be dealing with how hard Detective Falconeri was on him after Rocco had alcohol poisoning. Gio may never forgive Lois and Gloria Cerullo (Ellen Travolta) for playing God with his life.

The Q mansion will be filled with drama

The Q mansion will be jumping as everyone adjusts to the news. Ned Quatermaine will be in disbelief about his new grandchild, and may wwant Lois's head on a platter.

She will say she did what her daughter wanted but cannot justify her behavior, in the eys of those who were kept in the dark. She will probably eventually leave Port Charles. Sofer and her husband have moved permanently to the East Coast, and she may not be on the soap much longer.

How will Gio cope with the big news?

Gio probably will not accept the truth easily and will feel estranged from his mother and father. Lulu may incur the wrath of those who warned her it was not her secret to tell. Perhaps Spinelli will discover the facts, and Lulu won't get in trouble.

This will be the biggest event in the Quartermaine home in decades. There are so many players, and everyone will have reasons to feel betrayed and lied to. Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) might be the only person in the mansion who is not directly affected by what's about to be revealed.
