General Hospital's Lois and Ned married on June1, 1995

Ned and Lois have a 30 year anniversary

Long-time General Hospital fans recall that on June 1, 1995, Lois Cerullo (Rena Sofer) and Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) were married in Bensonhurst in Brooklyn, New York, where Lois was born and raised.

Viewers have heard much about the old neighborhood since Go Palmieri (Giovanni Maza) came to Port Charles. This is where his widowed mother, Camilla, raised him, but now he knows he was adopted and living near his bllood family all along.

Will Lois and Ned recall their wedding day?

With all the drama at the Q mansion related to Gio and the return of Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) the former couple may not recall their wedding day.

Also Ned is now married to Lois's best friend Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa Locicero). The parents of Brook Lynn Chase (Amanda Setton) probably will not stroll down memory lane to 30 years ago, but there could be a brief mention and flashbacks.

Brooklyn and Lois wore the same wedding dress

We can go back in time here for those who may not have been watching General Hospital at the time or have forgotten the history. Lois met Ned when he was singing as rock star Eddie Mane and she was running L&B Records. She was stunned to learn his real name and that he was from one of the richest families in Port Charles.

After squirrels destroyed her original dress, Lois wore Lila Quartermaine's Anna Lee) wedding gown. Some GH viewers thought the dress was beautiful while others sid it looked old and dated. Fans will recall the couple spent time on the Brooklyn Bridge, where BLQ Chase got her name.

Brooklyn also wore an alterered version of her great-grandmother Lila's wedding dress when she married Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) in 2024.

Ned and Lois's wedding day was dramatic

Lois and Ned ran to the church on foot, as neighbors along the way offered well-wishes. They were joined as husband and wife in a traditional Catholic ceremony and fans believed the two musicians would sing in perfect harmonhy for the rest of their lives.

Sofer and Kurth were also married in real-time for a season so art imitated life. In interviews Kurth has said the real life romance made the on-screen relationship more authetic. On this 30th asnniversary the duo are at odds with one another because Lois hid the fact that Gio is Brook Lynn and Dante Falconeri's (D0miniic Zampraga) son.

He is also the grandson of Ned and Olivia and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) grandson and the great-grandson of Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot). This news has impacted the entire family as they have missed 22 years of Gio's life not knowing he was their relative.

Lois may be leaving Port Charles

Although their union did not work out Ned and Lois had become cordial with one another and Lois is living in the Q mansion with her bestie and former spouse. Rena Sofer has moved tol the East Coast with her husband Sanford Booksaver and will be cutting back on acting roles.

This suggests she may not desire to commute across country and might not remain on General Hospital much longer. Brook Lynn has said she will never forgive her mother but grandma Gloria Cerullo recently showed up in Port Charles and is accepting her role in keeping Gio hidden in plain sight with cousin Camilla.
