General Hospital fans wonder where Professor Dalton is
Daniel Goddard's character has not been participating in his own storyline.
Where is Professor Dalton?
It was announced in April that Daniel Goddard would join the cast of General Hospital as Professor Henry Dalton. The soap vet previously had portrayed Cane Ashby on The Young and the Restless. His fans were excited that he would be on screen again, after seen years but this did not last long.
Since he arrived in Port Charles, Dalton has only appeared in a handful of episodes. He has not been integrated into PC society and he is mentioned more than he is seen. The irony is that a major storyline is building about his research, which is believed to include testing on animals, yet the professor himself is no longer involved.
Dalton was last seen a few weeks back at the Metro Court pool when Emma Scorpio Drake (Braeden Bruner) was planning to search his laboratory. All the action since then has involved other Port Charles residents and mostly been out of the country.
Everyone is in Dalton's business
Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) put a stop to her granddaughter's snooping included Emma pretending to be romantically interested in the professor. Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna), sent WSB agents Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) and Vaughn ( Bryce Durfey) to Croatia, where Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) is doing research related to Dalton's project.
Colette Moreau (Mercedes Lopez Renard) and Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) are involved with the mysterious boss, who has yet to be revealed. There is also Pascal ( Mark Forget) running things at the Five Poppies resort, and Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) is seeking information. Ten individuals are involved in various aspects of Henry Dalton's research, yet he is nowhere to be seen.
When will Professor Henry have scenes again?
General Hospital fans assumed that Goddard was not going to be in a long-term role when it was announced that he would be a college professor. At first, it looked as if he and Anna had hit it off, but she was only snooping.
There have been no scenes where the professor is working in his lab or talking with anyone about his work. All the action now is that the Five Poppies, with no clues in Port Charles except that Colette is a double agent. Een though the soap et was hired in a non-contract role, fans say he dhould at least be involved in his own storyline.
Some GH viewers and spoilers suggested that Brennan would catch her in his office, and she would be the body floating in the water. There are many loose ends to this story, and fans have no clues. Once the events in Croatia are wrapped up and everyone returns to Port Charles, what will happen with Dalton?
What's next for the PCU professor?
Will he be arrested, eliminated, or somehow escape? School should be back in session soon, so there may be scenes with Emma still trying to get information or Dalton is teaching a class. She does not seem like the type to heed her grandmother's warnings so she might still try to figure things out.
Goddard was on The Young and the Restless from 2007 until 2019. The writers slowly dismantled his character, destroying his marriage, and placing the character in awkward situations. They finally sent him far away from Genoa City. Cane returned this summer but Billy Flynn is now in the role.
- General Hospital fans will have to stay tuned to learn what the fate of Henryu Dalton will be. He is not mentioned in any spoiler alerts for September 1 through the 5th, but he could still appear. Hopefully, Daniel Goddard will get more air time. If not viewers hope the actor will land on his feet until his next role.

Much to my surprise, I have kept a list of the films I‘ve seen this year. I daresay it isn’t complete. There will be films that snuck in on a late night in front of the TV that I would’ve forgotten to note. Or others, that I went to watch at the cinema, but then had a red wine and promptly forgotten about. But it’s not a bad approximation of the films I’ve seen this year. In total, there are 53 films listed, so an average of one a week and one for good luck.
