General Hospital fans wonder where Dr. Terry Randolph has been

Where is Dr. Terry Randolph?

Now that Kelly Thiebaud (Britt Westbourne) has returned to General Hospital as Britt Westbourne, and Parry Shen is scheduled to reappear as Brad Cooper, fans are wondering what happened to Cassandra James (Dr. Terry Randolph).

Monica Quartermaine named Terry and Britt as co-chiefs of staff which forced them to work together and get along. Dr. Randolph has not been on screen in a while even though she is mentioned every now and then.

James orginated the roleof Terry in 2017 but has never been on screen long enough to indicate she was on contract status. Since Britt "died", Portia Robinson (Brooke Kerr) has been running the hospital alone without Terry her co-chief of staff and fans want to know why.

James has been working as a showgirl

On her Facebook page the actress shared that she made her debut in August as Cassandra the Showgirl. Perhaps her schedule outside of General Hospital is why she has not been on screen.

On July 17, she wrote that she felt disconnected from public life. She did not mention anything about General Hospital. If you continue reading you will see posts that indicate the actress is frustrated that people are nto stepping up for the trans community as she believes they should.

Fans have expressed concern about James

In March James posted on Facebook that there was an attempt to erase her trans community. Some fans have expressed concern that the postings seem to indicate that James may be depressed. Her mentioning a "Safe space" has her followers wondering if she is being bullied.

The actress was born a man and transitioned into a woman. Her character Terry was also born male and was a good friend of Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst) when they were children. GH fans are saying that it's odd that Liz's best friend was nowhere around when she was going through some dark days.

Cassandra James is the first transgender actor to portray a transgender character on a daytime soap. She was praised for her work but now is not being seen.

Some fans wondered if her risque images may be why she has not been seen in Port Charles but Kelly Monaco who portrayed Sam McCall posed nude for Playboy and had a 21 year career on General Hospital.

Until James speaks out or someone from the ABC soap gives a statement there is no way to know for certain if and when she might return. In the meantime General Hospital fans can enjot that the "Britch" is back and look forward to her reunion with Brad when he returns.
