‘General Hospital’ fans disagree on Nina’s motives

Those who watch General Hospital have been expressing some interesting online sentiments about Nina Reeves. The overall consensus is that she is a bad person and some fans have said she is no better than her daughter Nelle Benson. They say the apple does not fall far from the tree so perhaps there is a generational curse involved. Nina’s mom Madeline was a schemer who took a baby Nelle away from her comatose daughter and gave her away. Madeline’s sister is Liesl Obrecht whose daughter is Britt Westbourne, so need I say more?

There are some GH fans who say that Nina has “Baby mama drama” and wants Sonny to impregnate her in order to get back at Carly. Other viewers have pointed out that Ms. Reeves has medical issues that render her unable to have a child, A few more who watch the ABC daytime drama have said that General Hospital is a soap so anything is possible. Fans of the show also say that Nina sleeping with Sonny while he thinks he is Mike would be totally inappropriate. Several viewers pointed out that Sonny has Super swimmers” so he might be the one man who can give Nina her own baby.

Sonny adopted Michael who actually is the son of AJ Quartermaine but he had Morgan and Donna with Carly. Speaking of Donna it’s as if that child is currently non-existent and not even mentioned anymore. The coffee importer also sired Dante with Olivia when they were teens, he has Avery with Ava, Kristina with Alexis and his baby with Lily died along with his mother when the car was bombed. It might be just like the writers to cook up a crazy storyline where Sonny gets Nina knocked up but it looks like the Nixon falls drama may be coming to an end.

Joss and Trina are headed to Pennsylvania without their mothers' knowledge. Carly and Portia believe the girls are going to a Volleyball tournament so there is probably trouble brewing. The teens are actually headed to Nixon Falls to pick up Jax and most viewers believe they will see Sonny. There is also the possibility that this is only a teaser because Nina might block them from finding Mike as she did with Jax, There are also situations in the Pennsylvania town that have yet to be resolved.

If Sonny is found and they all return to Port Charles right away this would not give answers to the issue with Elijah Crowe and what he is really up to. Nor would it bring proper closure for Mike and the Caulfields. The writers might simply have Joss and Trina ice up Jax without any of them seeing Sonny just to get the viewers worked up. The hatred towards Nina is unlike anything that I personally have seen since Rachel Matthews, (Robin Strausser) took Steve Frame away from Alice on Another World in 1971. Soap fans were so irate that some actually spit on Strausser when they saw her in public.

The General Hospital writers have done a good job of keeping viewers guessing since Sonny was presumed dead. There were rumors that Carly was going to have an affair with Jason or Jax and recently it was suggested that Brick might act on his feelings for Mrs. Corinthos. So far Carly has only been interested in keeping her family safe. Jason is about to go on the run with Britt, and Jax is in Nixon Falls, while Brick seems to only want to assist Carly businesswise.

If the writers take Nina down this dark path of sleeping with Sonny while he does no know who he is, she might as well kiss Wiley goodbye. Carly will see to it that she never gets to spend any time with her grandson. May sweeps is coming up so stay tuned to find out how all of this plays out.
