So what happens when you finally make that first million? Well, a lot of successful people have told us their stories of not only how they spent their first million, but also how they made it.

Now, two young Nigerian celebrities, comedian and actor Broda Shaggi, and singer Ayra Starr are revealing what they did when they got their first million and became millionaires. Here's what both people said.

Broda Shaggi

During an interview with TVC when asked "what was your reaction when you made your first million?" Broda Shaggi said:

Ah! I switch off my phone. 3 days. 3 days, I switched off my phone. It was a very weird experience because it had never happened before and it just came like once, just like that. I felt very happy. I felt like it was the beginning of another stage in my life. I've never seen million before. Imagine million just enter your account. You wey be say the money you don collect wey dey bust your head na 50k.

Broda Shaggi also went on to reveal that comedy pays him a lot more than music and that if he was to give up one, it would be music because it doesn't pay him anything close to what comedy does. During the interview, the topic of marriage for the singer also came up and he said:

For me, marriage is a big thing and it requires understanding from both genders. I won't lie, marriage is not in my mind now because I have so many things to achieve before marriage. When I get married, it means that I'm ready to settle down, I'm ready to take care of my wife. I'm ready to take care of my child because na only one pikin I feel say I want born. Maybe two. But when marriage happens, it's going to take my whole time. I'll need to give my all to my family. So it's not that I just want to marry one wife somewhere and make the wife do this and do that. No, we have to be together. We have to take care of the children together.

Ayra Starr

During a game of 'Firsts' which she uploaded onto her social media, Ayra Starr was asked what was the first expensive thing she bought with her own money since she is now a millionaire. Ayra answered saying:

I don't like to spend my money. Let me see, I'm about to get a car very soon by God's grace so I think that would be the first expensive thing I will buy with my money. I don't have any other expensive things because I don't like spending money. I think why I don't like to spend money is because I've been broke for a very long time. I've been poor for a very long time. Now that I have the money, I'm scared of it going. (Anything I buy) I'm like 'wait wait, that was mass destruction to my account'. But I'm going to buy a car soon so that'll be the first thing.
