Elon Musk and conservative commentator Ashley St. Clair are reportedly negotiating a parenting plan following her reveal that he is the father of her baby.A spokesperson for St. Clair, Brian Glicklich, confirmed in a statement on February 15 that the two have been in discussions regarding arrangements for raising their baby.

"Ashley and Elon have been developing in private a plan about how to raise their child for quite some time," Glicklich tweeted.

But he also sounded disappointed that media scrutiny came at the cost of their private discussions.

"It's sad that a tabloid reporter, who repeatedly ambushed Ashley and her family, made it impossible to complete that process discreetly," he said.

The release also called for Musk to come forward publicly and acknowledge his paternity.

"We are holding our breaths for Elon to come forward publicly to acknowledge his paternal role with Ashley, to put unwarranted speculation behind us, and Ashley has every expectation that Elon will bring their contract to an end as quickly as possible, in the best interests of the health and welfare of the child they have," Glicklich went on to say.

Ashley St. Clair's Valentine's Day Bombshell

This follows St. Clair, 26, shocking the world on February 14 by announcing that Musk is the father of her child.

She wrote on X:

"Five months ago, I gave birth to a new baby. Elon Musk is the father."

She explained how she had managed to keep this a secret to protect her child's privacy and security but was forced to open up when she saw the media outlets preparing to break the news.

"I have not previously disclosed it to protect our child's private life and welfare, but in the last few days it is clear that the tabloid media are going to do so without regard for the harm this will cause," she said.

St. Clair emphasized her desire to bring up her child in a regular and safe environment and asked the media to leave them alone.

"For that purpose, I appeal to the media to refrain from intruding into our child's privacy and not indulge in invasive reporting," she added further.

She ended her post by writing the Latin words "Alea Iacta Est," which means "The die is cast," reflecting that the step to go public was now a done deal.
