Does this picture speak a thousand words?

Soap fans have another mystery to unravel with a CBS daytime drama. An image has surfaced from behind the scenes at The Bold and the Beautiful, leaving viewers wondering about Liam Spencer's (Scott Clifton) fate. Does this photo have anything to do with what lies ahead, or were the cast members just talking while taking a break from taping? Fans believe that what is upon Liam's head holds a clue to what happens next.

A few months back, Brad Bell, the executive producer and head B&B writer, teased that a big storyline was coming soon for Liam. Many fans assumed it would revolve around Steffy Forrester (Jackie Wood), but she will soon be giving birth to her fifth child off-screen and will be on maternity leave. Clifton has been on the back burner for three or four months while the Forrester Creations drama was center-stage. His followers are eager to learn what he will be up to in coming episodes.

Liam's future is not certain

If Liam and Steffy find their way back to one another, it probably will not be in upcoming episodes because Wood is entering her eighth month of pregnancy and will be going on maternity leave. Other viewers had suggested recent events might mean that Clifton is out and his character dies but the picture implies this is not the case.

Recently, Liam fought with his dad, Dollar Bill Spencer (Don Diamont), and fell unconscious to the floor after Bill left the mansion. This behind-the-scenes image may give a clue about what lies ahead for Liam.

In the photo, Heather Tom (Katie Logan) is wearing the orange top she wore when she directed the all-women episode that aired last week. She may be directing this episode between Liam and Bill and giving them some pointers.

Does this photo suggest what fans believe it does?

In the picture, Liam is at a table at Ill Gardino restaurant with Bill, which suggests that at some point they get past their fight and all is well, unless this is not an actual scene. Clifton is wearing a covering over his head, but is this something he wears when taping stops, or will his character have to keep this scarf on because of his head injury, or perhaps brain surgery? It could be that the headgear Clifton wears in between scenes has nothing to do with his character.

Fans recall that Liam has fallen and hit his head several times on The Bold and the Beautiful, and suggest he might have a brain injury as a result. In real time, actor Rick Springfield announced last month that he has brain problems from when he fell off a stage and hit his head decades ago. Perhaps Clifton's character has health issues because he has injured his head several times.

What will Liam's big storyline be?

B&B viewers are curious about what comes next for Liam and are happy the image suggests he does not die and patches up his relationship with Bill. Fans are also enjoying seeing Heather Tom in action as a director. Her benind the scenes work is why she is not shown as much in front of the camera on the CBS soap.

Does the above image indicate what it suggests or are fans wrong to suspect that Liam's big storyline is health-related? Cassandra Creech is back as cardiologist Grace Buckingham which has some viewers convinced Liam may have heart health issues. Be sure to tune in to The Bold and the Beautiful next week to find out what Scot Clifto's headgear means.
