Days of Our Lives Update: Rachel's birthday party might have a big reveal

The troubled girl may have a meltdown and admit some nefarious behavior

What is going on with Rachel Black?

Is Days of Our Lives setting up Rachel Black (Alice Halsey) to be a demon seed who is capable of attempted murder? The child has reasons to be filled with rage. Number one is that she cannot get her parents back together. No one accepted her birthday party invitations, so it's clear that parents in Salem don't want her around their children.

Sadly, Rachel will celebrate with only three people in attendance: Her mother Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk), her father Brady Black (Eric Martsolf), and her uncle EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel). This is not a little girl's dream birthday celebration, so Rachel might throw a tantrum.

Spoilers tease that the birthday party will not go as planned, and more than likely, Brady and Kristen's daughter will act out in some manner. There have also been rumblings that she may have shot her uncle and should be on the suspect list, but no one is thinking of her at this time.

Could Rachel be an attempted murderer?

Kristen has been telling Brady that their daughter worries about her missing grandmother, Rachel Blake ( Roslin Gentle). The two Rachels worked together to keep Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) away from Brady, so viewers know his daughter is capable of and can do wrong. Is it possible that young Rachel shot her uncle in anger, and could she be the reason her grandmother disappeared?

EJ swore to Kristen that he had nothing to do with her mother's leaving Salem, and perhaps for once, he was telling the truth. Young Rachel has done some things that are not normal for a child her age, but is she capable of disappearing her grandma and shooting her uncle? Perhaps the gun went off by accident, and she did not mean to shoot EJ?

Kristen and Brady differ in their parenting skills, and neither seems to understand how troubled their daughter is. They got Ava not to press charges against either of the Rachels for holding her captive, so the child has not experienced consequences for her actions.

Rachel is about to learn the fate of her grandpa John Black (Drake Hogysten), and if she had nothing to do with Rachael Blake's disappearance, she will be distraught about both of her grandparents being out of her life.

Who shot EJ?

Johnny Dimera (Carson Boatman) sounds convincing when he says he did not shoot his father, so who did the deed? Could Days of Our Lives be using little Rachel as a smoke screen so viewers will be shocked when the real culprit is revealed?

Ava Vitali is at the top of the list but is out of the country and cannot be reached. Gabi Hernandez (Cherrie Jiminez) also sounds convincing when she recounts what happened the night EJ was shot, and some fans have crossed her off the suspect list. Gabi says she heard him arguing with a man before she left the mansion, but who?

Susan needs to pick up vibes on her granddaughter

Perhaps it was Johnny and later Rachel, or someone else who came in after and pulled the trigger. What if Kristen's mom snuck into the house and shot EJ, then went on her merry way? This mystery is beginning to deepen, and fans say it's time the truth is revealed.

Days of Our Lives fans should continue looking for clues about whoever sent EJ to the hospital. Susan Banks (Stay Haiduk) has been lurking around Salem, but she has not suggested anyone she believes shot her son. Perhaps she should look at her granddaughter and see what she picks up psychically on Rachel. Be sure to tune in to learn what happens at the birthday party and if any big reveals come to light.
