Marvel continues to test fans with another three-movie year on the way. Superhero fatigue wants to be a thing, but the movies are just too good to let it happen. The MCU has become more of a genre than it is a finite franchise so, much to our benefit and the dismay of others, it seems this first decade was only the beginning. Black Panther ushers in a next ten years, and does so with style.

The Magic of 'The Black Panther'
You don't have to be an athlete to enjoy a movie about sports but when you are, you feel a special connection to the storyline. You don't have to be a scientist to enjoy a film rooted in science, innovation, and exploration but when you are, you can relate. You don't have to be African or African-American to thoroughly enjoy Black Panther but when you are, the movie speaks to you at a louder volume.

Movie Review: 'Black Panther'. Top Story - February 2018.
I don’t want to confine Black Panther to the fact of its nearly all-Black cast. However, as I sat to enjoy the latest addition to Marvel’s cinematic universe, the genuine importance of Black Panther’s identity washed over me and I felt a surge of excitement. Yes, there have been Black superheroes before; Blade especially stands out. But this is an entire universe of dark-skinned people portrayed with complexity and humor.

In December last year, Disney confirmed that they would be acquiring the majority of 20th Century Fox's assets in a deal worth $52 billion. This is good news for Marvel fans because Marvel films are distributed by Disney and 'X-Men' films are distributed by 20th Century Fox. For the first time, the Marvel comics film rights will all be under the same roof. This means that we might get X-Men and Marvel superhero crossovers. They will all share the same universe. Previously, these crossovers only happened in the comic books because Disney didn't have the rights to the 'X-Men' characters.
