The last movie to be released, Spider-Man: Far From Home (2019), officially wrapped up the Infinity Saga, and the next film, Black Widow (2020), will kick off the next phase of the MCU. In this next era of the MCU, we can expect to say goodbye to some of our most beloved characters, and hello to new characters who will carry the franchise forward into the future.

The New Mutants Movie Review After numerous reshoots, delays, and release date pushed back, we have finally gotten 20 Century Fox last X-Men movie, The New Mutants. Directed and co-written by Josh Boone and based off the, New Mutants comic series created by Chris Claremont and Bill Sienkiewicz, The New Mutants film is a standalone spinoff, in hope of expanding the universe of the X-Men Franchise. The cast feature a a fairly known group of young talents such as; Alice Braga, Charlie Heaton, Blu Hunt, Anya Taylor-Joy, Maisie Williams, and Henry Zaga.

'Black Widow' Trailer Re-Released With November Release Date In Front Of 'The New Mutants'
Since her first appearance, Black Widow (her real name being Natasha Romanoff) has been one of the more popular characters in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The portrayal of the character by Academy Award-nominated actress Scarlett Johansson helped her keep up with the heavy hitters in the series such as Iron Man, Captain America, and Thor. A standalone film for her has been known to be in the works for several years now, which is especially nice for fans of her, given her death in Avengers: Endgame. With Phase 4 of the Marvel movies now coming out, we will be able to get a good look at more of the character traits and motivations only vaguely hinted at in the other Avengers films.

Many films and TV shows are slowly starting to ramp up production again after their long suspension due to the ongoing pandemic. Among the shows that have recently resumed filming is Marvel’s The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, which is supposed to air on Disney+ late this year. The series will see the return of Anthony Mackie and Sebastian Stan in their respective MCU roles. It will expand upon the final moments in Avengers: Endgame, where Steve Rogers hands his shield to Sam Wilson now taking up the revered mantle of Captain America. We will see Falcon struggle with this newfound responsibility, while Bucky Barnes helps him along the journey.

The massively successful Captain Marvel made the history books when it became the first female led superhero film to gross over 1 billion dollars. This was only one record Marvel broke in 2019, and it is impressive how they do keep going above and beyond what they have before. Well, Captain Marvel 2 is not out until 2022, but it has already aiming to break a new record.

X-Plaining the Dawn of X: Hickman and Yu’s X-MEN
With HOX/POX acting as a relaunch of Marvel’s X-Men titles, it’s fitting that the first ongoing monthly book to spin out of HOX/POX is X-Men, written by “Head of X” Johnathan Hickman with art by the legendary Leinil Francis Yu. Unlike the other X-titles, X-Men serves as a bit of an episodic series, with most of its chapters not exactly relating to other issues, but instead mainly serving as a way to build this new world, so to speak. Introducing new enemies, establishing Krakoa’s position on the world stage, and creating new mythologies.

'Ant-Man 3' Director Gives Brief Update on Paul Rudd’s Threequel

There is finally an update for the final installment of the Ant-Man trilogy from the director himself, Peyton Reed. A fan recently asked Reed how things were progressing on the film on Twitter. Reed replied, “Going well sir.”
