It’s Okay to Not Be Okay
The Netflix show “It’s Okay to Not Be Okay” is a Korean show that discusses serious topics of mental health through the romance, laughter, and tearful moments revolving around the protagonists, Moon Gang-tae (played by Kim Soo-hyun), his autistic older brother, Moon Sang-tae (played by Oh Jung-se) and the infamous children’s literature author, Ko Moon-Young (played by Seo Ye-ji). This series is difficult to be categorized into a single genre, because of its rich and diverse storytelling method. The romantic relationship between Moon and Ko, the heart wretching relationship between the Moon brothers, and the horrorific tragedy of the Ko family , leaving the audience experiencing a wide range of emotions through every episode.

An adaptation of a novel of the same name written by Donald Ray Pollock, ‘The Devil All the Time’ begins with Willard Russell (Bill Skarsgård) who returned from WWII. He falls in love with a beautiful young woman at a restaurant counter (Haley Bennett), scrounges together enough money for a house and has a son. The story begins with him teaching his 9-year-old son Arvin (Tom Holland) to be sincere in prayer.Life isn’t easy but it’s good.

Season 2 of Criminal UK has arrived on Netflix. The show which first came out last year and depicts the interrogation process in a metropolitan police station. (Last time we also saw Criminal France, Criminal Germany and Criminal Spain.) The series depicts what happens after you are arrested and the detectives come in for the interview. The main goal is not just to get the facts, but to get a confession. It takes me back to the time when Jane Tennison always got her man or woman to confess. In the US we have Law and Order with Detective Benson and Carussi bringing the criminals to confess.

Cyber-punk shows have never been done quite like this, and the justice that Altered Carbon delivers to the Sci-fi and cyber punk genres is nothing far from amazing. Through beautiful cinematography, strong performances, engaging fight sequences, and an emotionally compelling story, Altered Carbon has become a big steppingstone for future works of the like. Hold on tight, for every episode will have you pondering over the meaning of life, the unpredictability of the future, and will induce the occasional existential crisis. Not to worry though, for this is only science fiction (Or is it?).

Schitt's Creek | Netflix Original Series Review
Recently my boyfriend and I went to visit a friend for a socially distanced catch-up. As we bombarded each other with all the stories that we'd been unable to tell each other the past few months we finally got onto what we'd been watching on Netflix. She made us aware of Schitt's Creek, a comedy show she was currently going through for the second time. It instantly took my interest when we watched a few clips, then made even more interested when she mentioned that each episode was 20 minutes long.

My Review of "All Together Now"
All Together Now is a Netflix exclusive that recently came out. It seemed like an uplifting movie about a teen needing help. What I got out of this was a somewhat predictable movie but was more of an emotional roller coaster ride than I thought it would be. I think they did a pretty good job in depicting certain troubles that real people have issues with.
