Carly may give Brason the green light

Spoilers for GENERAL HOSPITAL have predicted several situations for Carly Corinthos ever since her spouse "died". None of them to date have been accurate except the fact that Carly took over her husband's territory. It had been teased that Mrs. Corinthos would marry someone in the mob to keep her family safe but that has not happened. Instead, Sonny's men are now taking orders from his "widow." Spoiler alerts also said that in her grief she would turn to Jason and they would end up in bed. Jason is now involved with Britt Westbourne.

There were also rumors that Jax and his former wife might reunite but that will never happen now. If there had been a possibility the bridge has now been burned due to Carly's recent activities. The one thing that Jasper absolutely hates is Sonny and Jason's mob connections. He is livid that the mother of his daughter is now running the Corinthos organization. It has also been predicted that both Carly and Sam would give Jason no peace if he hooked up with Britt and initially this seemed to be true.

Carly mi8ght give her blessing

When Britt was first caring for Jason in the safe house Carly did not trust her and seemed pretty territorial. Now that she is the reigning mob boss in Port Charles, Mrs. Corinthos might become drunk with her own power. She has Brick, Trent, and others obeying her every command so she might begin to view her friendship with Jason somewhat differently. Carly may also develop a new respect for Dr. Westbourne because of the way she has taken care of Jason.

GENERAL HOSPITAL viewers will recall that Carly gave Sam, her walking papers when she wanted in on Jason's whereabouts. She reminded Ms. McCall that she is the one who initiated the breakup with the father of her children in order to protect Danny and Scout. Although Carly is protective and jealous where her best friend is concerned there is a chance that she will not stand in the way of his relationship with Britt.

On Thursday, Carly called Jason to ask if he could return to Port Charles because Cyrus had kidnapped Spinelli. She asked to speak to Britt who confirmed that Jason was in shape to travel, although he really wasn't. There is a chance that Carly might begin to see Britt in a new light and respect her for sticking with Jason and seeing him through this ordeal. Considering that spoilers were wrong regarding Carly's relationship status they could be off base on how she will handle Brason.

Sonny's return will change everything

Jason and Britt have made love and now have a bond. The writers are also beginning to move Sam and Dante closer. Even so once Sam realizes that Jason has slept with Britt she will naturally be jealous, She may try to rekindle the feelings and Jason might stick with Dr. Westbourne. Sam will really be shocked if Carly supports Britt with Jason. Once Cyrus is apprehended and things can settle down Jason and Carly both will be reassessing their situations.

They will have to decide if Jason will step back into the role of heading Sonny's organization or if Carly will remain in charge. Things will really become complicated when Sonny returns. Through it all Carly could remain true to form and tell Jason that Britt is not right for him or the writers might have Carly and Britt come to an understanding where Jason is concerned. Carly might consider that Sam turned her back on the father of her children, while Britt risked her career and her life for him. This may endear her to the new Port Charles mob queen.
