Bryce Durfee's New Halmark Film and His General Hospital Status

Why can't Josslyn keep a man?

General Hospital fans were troubled when Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna) had WSB agents snatch S. Vaughn (Bryce Durfey) and smuggle him to parts unknown.

If he does not return, this indicates that Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) has lost yet another young man who may have been her soul mate. As a teenager, she watched Oscar Nero (Garrin Stit) die from brain cancer, and many GH fans thought this was brutal.

Next, the friendship between Joss and Cameron Webber ( Will Lipton) blossomed into romance, but the writers ultimately destroyed this popular pairing. Esme Prince (Avery Pohl) taped their first time together and made sure everyone saw it.

Joss then fell for Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) and cheated on Cam, who later left Port Charles. Fabs enjoyed the chemistry between Joss and Dex, but he was murdered by Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober).

Fans enjoyed Joss and Vaughn

Vaughan and Joss grew closer during their time at the Five Poppies in Croatia, and fans enjoyed them being in love and working on dangerous assignments. Brennan forbade them from continuing their relationship once the mission was over. They defied his orders, and now Vaughn is gone, but is it for good?

Has S. Vaughn been sent to the WSB's version of the Pine Barrens, or was he given another assignment in a remote area? Can Joss trust anything Brennan tells her?

Also, could Joss come clean to Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) and the duo take down Brennan and rescue Vaughan? This would be risky because they would be going up against the World Security Bureau. but who knows what the writers are planning.

Durfee will appear in a Hallmark Christmas film

Neither the actor nor General Hospital has commented on his status, but Michael Fairman reports that Durfee has a new role. His character has not yet been revealed, but he will have a supporting role in the Hallmark film Holliday After: A Disney World Wish Come True, which stars Lindsey Chabert and Travis Van Winkle.

Also in the 2026 holiday film will be Richard Lind, Christy Carlson Romano, Taegen Burns, Asher Alexander, while Patrick Renna is set to make a cameo.

Perhaps Vaughn will only be away while Bryce is filming, and he will eventually return to Port Charles. Brennan had just promoted him to be his assistant, so now that job is vacant again.

Geneal Hospital fans wonder why Joss has not been allowed to remain in a romantic relationship long-term and why there is always tragedy surrounding her.

Will Vaughn return to Port Charles?

Brenna knew the risks of putting Joss and Vaughn together and then punished them for acting on their feelings. Meanwhile, he is sleeping with Carly, while keeping this huge secret from her.

Thanks to Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart), who recently escaped from prison, Carly is aware that her daughter may have murdered Cyrus. Valentin is seeking refuge at Carly's, and each of them is using the other with a common goal. Things are going to become dangerous pretty quickly.

What will happen between Brennan, Valentin, and Carly, and how will Joss fit into this melee? Does Anna Devane's (Finola Hughes) being kidnapped have anything to do with any of this?

Dex, Cam, Vaughn, and Oscar were all great guys. it's a shame the way GH writers did not make the most of them.

General Hospital viewers know that Port Charles will roll on one way or another, whether S Vaughn returns or not. Be on the lookout for updates on his Disney film and whether or not he will return to Joss. It doesn't seem likely at this point, but stranger things have happened.
