Bank Under Siege Netflix Review: Don't Expect Money Heist

Recently a new drama series has come on Netflix called Bank Under Siege which some viewers are considering a masterpiece like Money Heist. Now I would like to make them aware of the reality that this show is not at all like Money Heist. Yes, there is a heist drama in it but it is not Money Heist.

In this show, you’ll see Miguel Herrán, who starred as Rio in Money Heist, taking on the lead role.

There are two more actors, Hovik Keuchkerian, who played the character of Bogota in Money Heist, who was a part of the Professor's team. The second is Maria Pedraza as Alison Parker, who is held captive by the Professor's team.

Well, now without deviating much from the topic, let us focus on how the overall content of the drama show Bank Under Siege has come on Netflix and whether it is worth watching or not. So, now we will talk about this in detail and by dissecting it, we will find out how huge its content is.

Starting from the basics, as I told you, to watch Bank Under Siege, you will have to take the help of Netflix. This is a show of 5 episodes which come with a runtime of 40 to 45 minutes.

And let me tell you that this is a limited series. You will not have to wait for season 2.

The story is over in five episodes. That's all.

The best thing is that it is available in Hindi. I have seen it only in Hindi, in English it probably goes over my head.

If we talk about the story, it is the year 1980 and a total of eleven people go to a bank and try to rob it. They take the people present in the bank hostage. Now those robbers have a small demand from the government. Now what is that demand and why have they come to steal? Will they be able to return home after stealing or not? To know all this you will have to watch this series.

Look, if you want to watch a Timepass Heist drama series then definitely go for it.

The series is not bad at all. Its story, the characters we see or the environment connects you with it in just 5 minutes and as the story progresses, you feel invested.

The story is no doubt engaging and the environment created keeps you invested.

The best thing about this series is its drama, its characters will keep you engaged by doing something or the other and you will not get bored. It means a series that keeps you entertained and you keep watching it while eating popcorn. This feeling will come to you when you get immersed in its drama.

This series also offers some small thrilling moments but keep in mind that they are not as great as we have experienced in series like Money Heist and this is not even Money Heist but it is a hostage drama.

The production value of the series is very good, I have said this in the previous review as well, and BGM is also good.

The performances of the actors or their chemistry with each other, everything is good.

I would not like to spoil your fun by commenting on the weak points.

Overall, I will only tell you that if you want to watch a heist drama or say hostage drama series like Money Heist, which will pass your time well in a short period, you will not get bored even after watching it, you can watch the series with your family or girlfriend while drinking tea, there should be some tense moments in it, then definitely you can check out the Bank Under Siege series once for your time pass.

As for me, this series has entertained me and not bored me too much. If the stakes were high, it would have been more fun to watch it but overall it was a time pass experience for me. So, I will judge this series overall and rate it 7 out of 10 stars.
