Arkham: Will there be another Airdrop?
Arkham 2nd airdrop

During the last few weeks I have been really busy working actively on my strategy to maximise my eligibility for the upcoming airdrops from zkSync, Linea, zkEVM, Scroll, Taiko and a dozen other projects on my checklist. I did see some influencers talk about a potential airdrop from Arkham but I ignored it assuming that it will not be worth the effort as I had not heard of it much earlier. I was really shocked when just a few days later I read about people making thousands of $ just for signing up and not doing any grinding. To add insult to injury was the realisation that I have been spending hours every weekend for more than 6 months on potential airdrops while burning hundreds of $ on gas for transactions and bridging funds all over the crypto world. There is no confirmed news of any airdrop coming soon from the big projects I am focusing on. I keep grinding though with the hope that future airdrops from zkSync and Linea will more than make up for all the pain.
When I miss such under the radar airdrops it is quite frustrating but considering the rising number of projects propping up these days and limited time we all have we need to choose our battles as we can’t be everywhere all the time.
The reason I am writing this post is that there is some speculation that the current airdrop was worth just 3% of Arkham’s budget and as per their plan they have allocated over 30% of the budget for airdrops and community events. This indicates that there is a good chance there might be a second airdrop.

In fact there was so much interest generated related to another potential airdrop that a lot of scam and phishing links started circulating using the airdrop as a pretext. To control the situation Arkham had to release a tweet saying there is no second airdrop happening at the moment. They are however not denying that there will be no airdrops in future.
They are not asking for a lot of grinding, spamming on social media and doing long quests so just doing a simple sign up to be eligible is definitely worth trying it out.
What Exactly is Arkham?
Arkham does have a unique use case which is quite difficult to find these days as new projects have started mushrooming everyday.
As per their white paper their mission is to achieve “Deanonymization” in the crypto world. At the first glance it may seem like contradictory to everything that blockchain is designed for but when you go through their white paper completely you can make sense of what their key objectives are.
Driven by the rising number of scams and hacks that are happening so frequently their aim is provide a platform that facilitates exchange of crypto intelligence amongst users. To put it more in layman terms it means that if someone hacks your wallet then you can use Arkham to place a bounty on the hacker. Bounty hunters will track down the hacker for you.
Their dashboards also provide an aggregated view of all your holdings across all the different chains and you have the option to add multiple wallets for tracking.
Their Alert system can be configured to what transactions you want to be monitored and how do you want to be alerted if there is an unknown transaction triggered from your account.
How to Join Arkham?
You can register directly on the site of Arkham here- https://www.arkhamintelligence.com/
You can also use their referral system which lets you await any waitlist or waiting period and join immediately. After registering you will start accruing points from their referral system which will be linked to future airdrops or rewards.

Fingers crossed for a second airdrop from Arkham.
Cheers,
