Big Boobs - Celebrity plastic surgery

Celebrity plastic surgery transparency is having a moment, thankfully. With more transparency, there’s hope for more realistic beauty standards for everyone else.

From Kylie Jenner getting specific about her breast surgery details in the comments of a TikTok video to her sister Khloé Kardashian listing every cosmetic procedure she’s ever had in a comment on an Instagram post, stars are opening up about their cometic work like never before. Kristin Cavallari—who shared the specifics of her breast surgery on Let’s Be Honest—added to the conversation, explaining how she went from 300cc to 340cc in a recent revision. Next to join the transparency trend? Reality star and influencer Aurora Culpo, host of Barely Filtered.

Fresh off a plane from Miami and her latest procedure—her third breast surgery in three years—she’s sharing with remarkable honesty everything she’s learned: what went wrong, how her preferences changed, and why she’s finally done with big boobs.

Looking back on her reality TV days

If you’ve ever made a decision about your body or a beauty treatment and later regretted it, Culpo says it’s a more common experience than you think. “Some things are not reversible,” she says. “But we can always fix them and make adjustments.”

Culpo looks back on her reality TV days on TLC’s The Culpo Sisters and regrets getting Botox on the top of her lips during that time. “For some people, it looks really good,” Culpo explains. “It looked good for me when I wasn’t talking; I looked absolutely insane when I was talking because my top lip wasn’t moving.”

For Culpo, cosmetic surgery is like smoking marijuana. Stay with us—it might be a weird comparison, but it tracks. “It took me about 500 times of smoking weed to realize that every single time I did it, I didn’t like the feeling,” she recalls. “I did this for many years, and I hated it every single time. I also hate every single time I get Botox.”

How pregnancy changed everything

Culpo says that she never had a lot of body insecurities—until pregnancy transformed her breasts in ways she didn’t expect. “After pregnancy, there were all the crazy shapes of my boobs,” she laughs. “I didn’t even know the letters went that high; I think I was in the size H’s.”

Due to an oversupply of milk, Culpo says her breasts became significantly larger during postpartum. When she stopped breastfeeding, her breasts deflated dramatically. “They did not feel cute, and they did not feel good, but I knew I was going to have another baby, so I just let them be,” Culpo says.

After her second baby and experiencing the same postpartum cycle, Culpo decided it was time for surgical intervention.

Surgery #1: The fat transfer that backfired

For her first procedure, Culpo decided on a natural alternative and landed on a surgeon who specializes in fat transfer. The surgeon used Culpo’s own body fat to lift her breasts.

Although she healed well initially, the surgery left Culpo in a lot of pain. “I was in so much pain, and I have a high pain tolerance,” Culpo explains. “The reason it was so excruciating was because I didn’t have a lot of fat for him to pull from. So he had to take fat from several parts of my body.”

After a year and a half, the fat began to dissolve and form into balls, known as fat necrosis. “They just started to get flatter and saggier,” Culpo says. “It looked like all the fat that had been added to my breast was gone.”

Surgery #2: When implants went wrong

Since the fat didn’t stick from the first surgery, Culpo decided with her surgeon to opt for 290cc breast implants. But within a year, she face another complication: “My nipples basically moved up two inches because the implants were slowly falling within my breasts,” Culpo says. “So I got back to the doctor and I ask ‘What is going on?’”

Culpo’s surgeon told her that her skin couldn’t hold an implant of that size. She’d need another lift to insert a smaller implant.

Surgery #3: Choosing “less is more”

“At this point, I am so over boobs—I’m so over having big boobs or saggy boobs,” Culpo stresses. “I just don’t want to have any boobs.”

For her third surgery, Culpo made the decision not to have another implant. Since she wanted small boobs, Culpo just got a breast lift, aiming for a B cup. “I feel like big boobs are not for me or in the future,” Culpo says. “If I ever have to walk down a runway again or even for just working out, if you have big boobs, it makes it difficult.”

Ultimately, Culpo has embraced the “less is more” mentality. “I think overall, doing less is probably better, but no shame to anyone who is trying out different things to see what makes them feel more confident,” Culpo says. “Learning how to love your body—no matter where it’s at—is something I am still working on. It’s all about confidence and whether you like the way your body looks.”
