All The Major Locations/Universes Likely To Feature In 'Avengers: Doomsday'
Location, Location

With the first four teasers for Avengers: Doomsday now available online, fans are eagerly searching for clues and forming theories. As the penultimate chapter in the MCU's Multiverse Saga, Doomsday is sure to take place across multiple locations, and Universes.
Here, we'll take a look at the locations and worlds most likely to appear in Avengers: Doomsday, and what hints they could give us towards the film.
Earth-616
Earth-616 is the main timeline seen in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. It was once a singular universe known as the Sacred Timeline, until Sylvie's murder of He-Who-Remains in Loki season one allowed the timeline to branch, breaking free to become the Multiverse.
Despite the birth of the Multiverse, most (but not quite all) of the events seen in the MCU take place in Earth-616. The designation 616 one was given by the people of Earth-838, while studying the Multiverse in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. 616 is also the name of the core universe of Marvel Comics.
Let's look at some of the major locations within Earth-616 that are likely to factor into Doomsday.
The Watchtower
The tower in question, built in Manhattan atop what is the real-world MetLife building, has been through a few different incarnations. First known as the Stark Tower, a beacon of clean energy powered by an Arc Reactor, it soon morphed into the Avengers Tower after the Battle of New York. When the Avengers moved to a new Compound in Upstate New York, Tony Stark sold the tower.
After years of rumours and speculation from fans, it was revealed in Thunderbolts* that the Tower had been purchased by Valentina Allegra De Fontaine. Val remodels and rebrands it as the Watchtower. Initially intended as the home of Val's doomed Sentry program, the Watchtower ultimately becomes the base of operations for the New Avengers team.
Thunderbolts* post-credits scene, in which the New Avengers witness the arrival of an inter-dimensional ship appearing to belong to the Fantastic Four, takes place in The Watchtower. It was filmed on the Doomsday set, under the direction of the Russo Brothers.
In Doomsday, the Watchtower will most likely be seen early in the film as the story is being set up, or later, as a gathering point if the heroes need to regroup.
Wakanda
After hosting the largest battle in Avengers: Infinity War, the nation of Wakanda is set to return as a major location in Avengers: Doomsday. The country is under new leadership since we last visited it in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, with M'Baku assuming the throne while Shuri carries the mantle of Black Panther.
The fourth and currently final Doomsday teaser sees King M'Baku and Shuri meeting with Ben Grimm of the Fantastic Four somewhere in Wakanda, but just how much of the film actually takes place there is currently unknown.
Talokan

Talokan, and it's ruler, Namor, are also seen in the teaser focusing on the Wakandans and Fantastic Four. Introduced in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, Talokan is an underwater city where a second Vibranium meteorite fell, making it one of just two locations in Earth-616 where Vibranium is known to be available, the other being Wakanda.
As mentioned above, Talokan was depicted as an underwater city in Wakanda Forever. It's people, aside from the mutant Namor, cannot breathe on land, requiring water-filled masks. However, the Talokan seen in the teaser is dry and barren, hinting that something has gone horribly wrong between Wakanda Forever and Doomsday.
While Wakanda and Talokan forge a fragile peace at the end of Wakanda Forever, this peace, at least on Namor's end, is largely built on his belief that Wakanda will not be able to find other allies, and will need Talokan's support. It has been rumoured that tensions between Wakanda and Talokan will be building again in Doomsday. This could either be due to whatever has caused the loss of Talokan's water, or the implications of Wakanda's potential inter-universe alliance with the Fantastic Four. In both Marvel Comics and now the MCU, if there is a choice to be made between his own people and others, Namor will always choose his own people.
San Francisco 616
The city of San Francisco is the main setting of the first two Ant-Man films. It is also featured in Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, as the city in which Shang-Chi settles after fleeing his Father.
Aside from a brief sequence after Scott Lang returns from the Quantum realm in Avengers: Endgame, the city has not featured heavily in an Avengers film, but that could potentially change in Doomsday.
Two heroes confirmed for Doomsday, Scott Lang and Shang-Chi, live in San Francisco. Both are expected to align with Sam Wilson's Avengers team. Even if the city is not a major location, it's very possible that Sam could visit to recruit Shang-Chi and Scott. It's also possible that Sam's team could settle in San Francisco, becoming a take on the West Coast Avengers.
Earth-828
Earth-828 (Not to be confused with Earth-838, visited in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness), is the retro-futuristic home universe of the Fantastic Four, where the events of The Fantastic Four: First Steps take place. Currently, the Fantastic Four are 828's only known superheroes.
While Thunderbolts* post credits scene and the Wakanda teaser suggest that the F4 will jump to Earth-616 during Doomsday, we will likely still see some events taking place across locations in 828.
The Baxter Building
The Baxter Building is the home, main workspace, and all around base of operations for the Fantastic Four. Functionally, it is the equivalent of the New Avengers' Watchtower.
According to rumours from the Doomsday set, a large group scene may take place in the Baxter Building, hinting that some 616 characters may visit Earth-828.
Latveria

In Marvel Comics, Latveria is the birthplace of Dr. Victor Von Doom, which he eventually rules over as a monarch/Dictator. In a brief scene of Sue Storm addressing the U.N in The Fantastic Four: First Steps, the seats intended for a delegation from Latveria are noticeably empty, hinting at the long-running enmity in the comics between Doom and the F4.
There is no confirmation of a Latveria in Earth-616, aside from a theory that Steven Grant may have subtly visited it in Moon Knight. However, given that Doctor Doom is the main villain of Doomsday, and Latveria is his homeland, it stands to reason that the film may visit some version of the country.
X-Men universe.. Earth-10005?
We know from both the cast announcement, and the third teaser, that X-Men characters, played by the original actors from the Fox films, will appear in Avengers: Doomsday. What is less certain is which universe these X-Men will actually hail from.
The original Fox-verse X-Men and Deadpool films, including Deadpool and Wolverine, take place on Earth-10005, and this is certainly the most well-known X-Men movie universe thus far, but it is far from the only one in which versions of these characters exist. We likely won't know exactly which universe Doomsday's X-Men come from until the film hits theatres in December.
Xavier's School For Gifted Youngsters
In most versions of the X-Men story, including the films, Xavier's School For Gifted Youngsters is a school run by Professor Charles Xavier, as a safe haven for young Mutants learning their abilities. It also often doubles as homebase for the X-Men superhero team.
The school appears to have met an unfortunate fate in the X-Men's Doomsday teaser, but there's a chance we will see it in happier times before this tragedy occurs.
The TVA
The TVA, aka the Time Variance Authority, is an organisation that exists outside of time. Initially founded by He-Who-Remains to maintain the Sacred Timeline, The TVA eventually switches focus to monitoring the stability of the Multiverse.
As of the conclusion of Loki season two, Loki, now the Guardian of the Multiverse/God of Stories, sits a throne holding the many strands of the Multiverse together. Tom Hiddleston is reprising the role of Loki in Doomsday. Many fans are expecting Loki to be a target of Doom due to his position as a protector of the Multiverse. Currently, Loki's location appears to only be accessible through the TVA, so we can assume it will appear in the film.
We'll likely learn of more potential locations throughout the year as Doomsday's release grows closer.
