1. "True Beauty" by Yaongyi: After a girl who is secretly a "goddess" at makeup transfers to a new school, she decides to hide her bare face and transform herself into a beautiful and popular girl. But her secret is in danger of being exposed when she catches the eye of two boys who both fall for her, unaware of her true appearance. There is also a Korean drama which was adapted from this manhwa, overall it is a nine for me. I do really love the character of Lim suho ;)

2. "The Lady and Her Butler" by Jade: A high society woman Nina hires a butler Joon hyuk to help her care for her young niece, but she soon she finds herself falling for him. As Nina and Joon-hyuk spend more time together, they begin to develop feelings for each other However, their difference in social status and the secrets they keep threaten to keep them apart. If you are a Kdrama fan do comment which Kdrama plotline does this manhwa remind you of;)

3. "Something About Us" by

Lee Yunji: Two childhood friends Woojin and Ga young who have drifted apart in college unexpectedly reunite and begin to develop romantic feelings for each other. The story picks up when Woojin and Ga Young happen to reunite in college and start to spend more time together. As they reconnect and rediscover their friendship, they begin to develop romantic feelings for each other. However, their past and present circumstances may make it difficult for them to be together.

4. "I Love Yoo" by Quimchee: It is a romance webtoon that tells the story of a young woman named Shin-Ae Yoo, who has a difficult life and struggles to make ends meet. She meets two brothers, Kousuke and Yeong-Gi Hirahara, who come from a wealthy family and attend the same school as her. Kousuke is a successful businessman who is focused on his career, while Yeong-Gi is a laid-back and carefree artist who has a mysterious past.

As Shin-Ae gets to know the Hirahara brothers, she becomes entangled in their lives and begins to develop feelings for both of them. However, their past and present circumstances may make it difficult for them to be together. Kousuke is cold and distant, while Yeong-Gi is hiding secrets and has his own personal struggles.

5. "Oh! Holy" by Ahyun: Oh Holy!" by Ahyun is a romance webtoon that follows the story of a high school girl named Sujin who meets a handsome and mysterious transfer student named Jeho. Sujin is a shy and introverted girl who struggles to fit in at school and has low self-esteem. Jeho, on the other hand, is confident and charming, but he also has a secret.

As Sujin and Jeho get to know each other, they begin to develop feelings for each other. However, their past and present circumstances may make it difficult for them to be together. Sujin is dealing with family issues, while Jeho has a complicated relationship with his father. To be honest for a romance it was quite dark for me because for me it was more like a slice of life plus romance. It also focuses on christian beliefs and practices which are done in Korea.

6. "A Good Day to be a Dog" by Lee Hey: is a romance webtoon that tells the story of a young woman named Hana, who has the ability to transform into a dog. She meets a man named Jiho, who is struggling to move on from a past relationship and is drawn to Hana's carefree and playful personality.

As the story unfolds, Hana and Jiho begin to develop feelings for each other. However, their past and present circumstances may make it difficult for them to be together. Hana's secret identity as a dog creates challenges in their relationship, and Jiho's unresolved feelings for his ex-girlfriend keep him from fully opening up to Hana. I find these two very cute and wholesome if you are looking for a light romance, you cam go for it. There are rumors of this manhwa turning into a Kdrama but nothing is confirmed yet.

7. "My ID is Gangnam Beauty" by Gi Maeng-gi: "My ID is Gangnam Beauty" is a Korean webtoon that was adapted into a popular drama series in 2018. The story follows the life of a young woman named Kang Mi-rae, who undergoes plastic surgery after being bullied for her appearance in high school. The surgery drastically changes her appearance and boosts her self-confidence, but she soon discovers that changing her outside appearance doesn't necessarily change how she feels about herself on the inside.

As Mi-rae navigates her new life as a college student, she struggles to fit in and find true acceptance. She meets a man named Do Kyung-seok, who is initially cold and distant but eventually becomes her friend and confidant. However, their relationship is complicated by the fact that Kyung-seok is dealing with his own personal issues and has a complicated past.

One of the unique aspects of "My ID is Gangnam Beauty" is its exploration of themes such as beauty standards, self-esteem, and social acceptance. No matter how many word i say for this one it will not be enough. The manhwa is so exceptional and the kdrama is so good. You gotta give it a try. I might as well give the show a rewatch cause it is so good and it has CHA EUN HO. A reason enough for a rewatch.
