5 Villains We Absolutely love

We know when Watch Series or Drama the good guy gets our attention and we tend to side-line the villain often forgetting that they are human beings with stories too. Occasionally the villain, becomes the most captivating personality of the drama, their trails become our trails, their joys become our joys, their fights become captivating and we root for them as the story progresses, hoping somehow that they can get a happen ending too. Here Are six Series villains that we absolutely love (Spoiler Alert)!!!.

1. Aurelio Jaramillo aka EL TITI - Sin senos si hay Paraiso, El final del Paraiso (2016 – 2018, Telemundo)

Played by Gregorio Pernia, El Titi is a drug dealer turned DEA informant turned Drug Dealer, he has a passionate personality that draws women to him, a sweet tongue and an unwavering love for Catalina Santana, his one and only true love that he would do anything for. He remains loyal to her through out the series even if it means going against other drug dealers or himself.

2. Maya Mehrotra – Beyhadh (2016 – 2017, Sony TV)

Played by Jenifer Winget, Maya is a famous fashion magazine owner who lives in constant fear due to a troubled childhood, she then falls in love with Arjun. She helps unity his family and helps him mature, along the way making him fall in love with her, but with Saanjh and Arjun’s mother against the relationship and willing to do anything to end it, Maya’s obsession to keep the only person that ever treated her as a human being is triggered, forcing her into drastic decisions that she herself regrets.

3. Rodrigo Martinez/El Faier - Bajo El Mismo Cielo (2015 – 2016, Telemundo)

Rodrigo Martinez is an immigrant’s son, who in the process of looking to live a better life, gets drawn into the world of Gangs and becomes the right-hand man of Colmillio, the ruthless leader of La Colonia. Rodrigo goes through a lot of trails, from unobtainable love, being an undocumented immigrant to trying to get of gang culture. He is loving, emotional,and loyal to those around him, often allowing emotions to get the better of him.

4. Lindiwe Dlamini-Dikana - The River (on-going, 1magic)

Played by Sindi Dlathu, Lindiwe is the owner of Khanyisa Diamonds mine who is passionate, loving, and caring towards her loved one. She is ruthless and calculating when it comes to protecting her family and maintains her lifestyle, she is often faced with challenges that require some sacrifices leading her on a road of sins that she later regrets as the consequences get harder and harder to face and change becomes harder and harder for her.

5. The King of Qin (Ying Zheng) - The Kings Woman (2017, Zhejiang TV)

He was sent away as a child and ended up living a life where he faced many days ridicule and bullying turning him into a tyrannical king, who is suspicious of everyone and determined to punish those that bullied him. He falls in love with Gongsun Li, one of the first people to show him compassion and later for turns her into a fugitive in order to force her to become his wife, he accepts Gongsun Lin’s son from her past relationships, and often shows his good, vulnerable and romantic side to her, which makes her fall in love with him. however, his fear of being bullied and suspicious nature tends to get the better of him often.

Those were the five series Villains that we love. The complexity of their characters, each of them having multidimensional aspects to their personalities has us wishing them a happy ending. I for one found myself rooting for these villains!
