'Super Contra' Review
When I first purchased and received my NES Classic Edition just weeks before Christmas in 2016, Super Contra, or Super C, was one of the games that I was eager to play. As a kid, I played the original Contra game, but was unable to get through the third area. In Super Contra, Pfc. Bill Rizer and Pfc. Lance Bean of the Contra unit must not only fight against their former comrade-in-arms, but also a new mutated form of the same alien creatures they fought during their previous mission. As for getting extra lives, it's a little bit different. On the original Contra game, on the title screen, you would use the popular Konami Code, which is Up, Up, Down, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right, B, A, Start and receive 30 lives. In Super C, you would receive 10 lives by using the following code on the title screen: Right, Left, Down, Up, A, B, then Start. My favorite weapon, without a doubt, is the beloved Spread gun. It's my best friend and I say that because it's a lot more effective. There are eight areas in this game, so I'm going to give my review of each one.

'Far Cry 5': The Good, the Bad, and the Father
For those of you who are new to the Far Cry series and enjoy action/shooters with a bit of story sprinkled on top, this game will certainly be worth the buy. Unfortunately, if you've already logged some hours in the past Far Cry's, this game is pretty much the exact same thing over again. There are some new features which are all nice, but it's still just the same old script.

'Air Fortress' on the NES
Air Fortress is an interesting game to say the least. I recall first playing it when I was like 8. My uncle had borrowed it from a friend of his. For whatever reason, we called it Space Man, so when I went looking for it as an adult, I had no idea what the hell I was looking for.

How to Defeat the Final Bosses in 'Ninja Gaiden' (NES)
Ninja Gaiden was a side-scrolling action-platforming video game released for the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) in March 1989. The game features a ninja named Ryu Hayabusa who seeks revenge for his father's death. This game was one of my favorites to play as a kid. In 1997, I had reached the first of the final three bosses, which was The Masked Devil, several times. Unfortunately, I never got past him and was forever frustrated. In 2016, 19 years after the infuriating event, I purchased an NES Classic Edition, in hopes of redeeming myself and finally defeating the final three bosses after all of those years. In this article, I'll be sharing some tips on how to trounce The Masked Devil, Jaquio, and The Demon Sculpture. If you fail to defeat all three enemies, you will have to start over at Act 6-1 and try again, regardless on the number of lives you had left.

Video Game Movies
When I was growing up, the first movie that used video games as a major plot device was The Wizard. You might remember that movie starring Fred Savage, where a major secret was given away in Super Mario 3. As much as it was about video games, the story was actually about two brothers who go on a trip by themselves. The first movie based on a video game wouldn't come until years later, and would start a new trend that continues today! I only mention a handful of them, and these are the games that had a huge impact on me. I'm not listing all of them, because we'd be here all day. So sit back and enjoy.

'Monument Valley' Is Overlooked
The game grew in popularity through App Store promotion and Editor's Choice. However, it is clear that this game has been overlooked. The second game had a beautiful story of the journey of a young girl who was separated from her mother halfway through the story. The one of a kind illusions is beautifully crafted into a story. The development of Monument Valley 2 took one year to complete with the game's company ustwo games to publish it to the Apple's App Store. Even after all the advertising, it has reached massive download numbers but it still hasn't received the online coverage it deserves

Ten Characters Begging for a Spot in 'Super Smash Bros. Switch'
On the March 8, 2018 edition of Nintendo Direct, Yoshiaki Koizumi—game producer, designer, and director—closed out the broadcast with the announcement of Super Smash Bros. for the Nintendo Switch. Fans of the series traversed the internet to actively discuss, speculate, and celebrate the announcement of the game. A focal point, whether on Reddit, 4chan, or other video game forums was the discussion of which characters might make their way into Nintendo's newest edition of its biggest cross-over series.
