A Game That Anybody Can, and Everybody Should Play
***THIS REVIEW IS SPOILER FREE*** Finding new games to play is always a struggle. I was never a lineup-at-the-theater to watch a movie type of guy (unless maybe Star Wars); I was more of a wait until it comes out on DVD for rent kind of guy. In that sense, with Steam prices for "new" games like CoD:WWII and Monster Hunter going into the high 50s and 60s, I like to take a look back at what games that I've missed that I can grab at feasible prices. Released for PC in February 2016, Firewatch pulls a decent price of 19.99 USD on Steam (in Canada it costs 21.99 CAD, which means given the current currency exchange rate, it's about $3.2 USD cheaper to buy it in Canada).

This 'Uncharted' Short Film Is the Only One We Need
(SMALL SPOILER ALERT FOR THE SHORT FILM - SOME PLOT DETAILS ARE MENTIONED.) Video game to film adaptations are, to be frank, rarely any good at all. Even those that fair slightly better with audiences and critics (such as this year's Tomb Raider adaptation) come across as only just better than other adaptions. The Uncharted series is just one example of a popular, critically praised video game franchise that Hollywood has set its eyes on, in yet another attempt to prove that films based on games barely ever work as good movies, let alone companion pieces to those games they are based on.

Best Gifts for PS4 Gamers
Despite the fact that their hobby is very niched, PS4 gamers can be tricky to shop for. First of all, unless you've memorized your gamer friend's entire PlayStation inventory, there's no way of knowing if they already own a copy of whatever it is (i.e., game, book) you're thinking of giving them.

Gaming News for the Week of July 12, 2018
Top Story: 'Fortnite' season five starts today and Epic went hard to promote it. The time travel-themed season of Fortnite popped off this morning after a week of mysterious teasers, both in-game and in the real world. Last week, a massive rocket launched causing massive rifts in the map's sky, which kicked off a slew of minor map changes and hints across social media about what season five would comprise of. In the real world, though, the iconic llama piñatas began appearing all over Europe. There are seven in total in cities like Paris, Warsaw, and two in London. As of recording, it is unclear what significance the llamas have and if anything about them changed with the arrival of season five.

The Letter Guide: Ashton x Isabella Route
Introduction A lot of people seemed to have enjoyed the Zachary x Hannah guide, so I've decided to write some more guides for the game. Ashton x Isabella is one of the most popular pairings in this small, but growing fandom and it's easy to see why. They have some brilliant chemistry together and heart-warming scenes that it's easy to ship them as best friends or as lovers. The romantic route for these two is one of the most awarding for those who love romance.
