Quest Room: Red Giant
Whats going on guys? It's Dannis here, and I put my numerous hours of watching Indiana Jones and National Treasure to the test. After all my research, I found the Red Giant. Though it may not have thousands of years of collected artifacts that will change the course of history or a sacred chest that holds the Ark of the Covenant, that's besides the point. It's time for my name be in history.

Remember Those Nancy Drew PC Games from Your Childhood?
Between 1998 and the present day, HeR Interactive has released 33 point-and-click adventure games centered around everyone's favorite nosy know-it-all, Nancy Drew. Just in case you forgot about these games, we'll take a trip down nostalgia lane. I'll be focusing on Secrets Can Kill (1998) and The Last Train to Blue Moon Canyon (2005), but all games are valid. Before you know it, you'll have Ned Nickerson's phone number memorized again. And if you've never forgotten it... you won't even be needing a second chance. Love, Nancy.

Hero of EA Play
What Happened at EA play: "The Hero of EA Play" #EA #EAgames #Mixer #EAplay #gamerblog #progamer #fbstories The day started like any other. I woke up early with a raging thirst and an unmistakable raging boner for nothing other than video games. I had planned to wake up earlier, but my lack of money, limited travel ability (due to my van being out of gas), and the general dislike of the crazy guys still following me was weighing down on my every move. So, in light of all of these hindrances, I grabbed wood; my trusty skateboard,"Plan B-Destroy," and rode as fast as I could to the actual event.

How Sierra Adventure Games Inspired Me to Be a Creative Entrepreneur
Growing up in the late 80s and early 90s, most of my time was spent playing Sierra Adventure Games on my PC. Now—you might be thinking to yourself, aww... poor kid, he never had any friends. Quite the opposite actually — I had A LOT of friends, and for the most part they were all nerds and geeks like me, who sat at home playing Sierra adventure games. And we played them all: Kings Quest, Space Quest, Police Quest, Hero’s Quest, Quest for Glory, Manhunter, Gold Rush, The Adventures of Willy Beamish, the Black Cauldron, and let's not forget Leisure Suit Larry (when our parents were away, of course).

How to Build Thor in 'The Pathfinder' RPG
The self-proclaimed protector of Earth, Thor has become one of Marvel's most popular heroes since the Avengers came together on the big screen. For those who want to bring some of the Asgardian prince's rough humor to their Pathfinder games (along with his hard-hitting hammer), it can be done. It might take a few levels and some very careful building, but it can be done.

Lyin' Gamer
I’ve hit a very specific age where instead of getting asked how much I bench (which honestly has never once happened), I am asked if I am a gamer. Numerous people, who have nothing to do with each other, have seen me with my fat face, thinning hair, novelty t-shirt, and thick-rimmed glasses, and thought, “That dude spends his free time playing video games.”

Quest Room: Da Vinci's Challenge
Whats going on guys, it's Dannis here in 1493 taking on Davinci’s challenge at Quest Room to become his next apprentice. Not sure why the three of us are trying out for the same position when he’s only taking one person. Do we just share the prize? Or do we vote someone out. Can we just draw straws?

How to Build Ghost Rider in the 'Pathfinder' RPG
Everyone knows the story of Johnny Blaze. A daredevil motorcycle rider, he sold his soul to the devil in order to buy his dad a little more time on Earth. Google Stadia Wows at E3. Top Story - June 2019.
As a gamer, I'm always looking for new things to check out, explore, etc. E3 normally one of those events that pique that curiosity for me every year. There's always a presentation that just has that 'it' factor going for it, whether it's a game, or a console release, or maybe another console competitor altogether. This year, Google decided to make themselves known by unveiling a truly ambitious vision for the future of gaming with the Google Stadia reveal. Console-free, Cloud-based gaming isn't a new idea. Back in the day, a service called OnLive had essentially the same kind of dream; before Google even thought about stepping out into these cloud gaming streets, the folks at OnLive had the bright idea to stream games of all types for a subscription price. Of course, this was in the very infancy of cloud computing, so the dream of cloud gaming was still kind of like an unexplored country of sorts. OnLive's time in the spotlight was short-lived, as the company was eventually bought out by Sony entertainment, but their early foray into the promise of cloud gaming was a glimpse into a truly different direction for gaming. Fast forward to over a decade later. We're seeing a re-birth to the concept of truly console-free gaming (and some say the return of the spirit of OnLive) with Google's announcement of their ambitious vision for gaming with Google Stadia. Google had already been seriously exploring the idea of streaming and containing games within their cloud infrastructure with the beta program Google Stream prior to Stadia's introduction at E3.
