Playable Cinema: 20 Good Movie-Based Games
Hello, and welcome back to Silver Linings where I'm ready to roll the maligned and forgotten. One of the oldest truths in the games industry is that games based on movies suck. In fact, it was a game based on a movie that gets all the blame for nearly collapsing the whole industry in 1983, that being E.T.: The Extra-Terrestrial on the Atari 2600 (though I found its reputation to be worse than the game itself, as seen in my review). The reason for that is simple: games based on movies are designed more to be marketing tools for the movies in question than as enjoyable games in their own right.

5 Paladin Multiclass Character Concepts Your Table Won't Expect
The paladin is one of the most iconic heroes of fantasy RPGs. Knights in shining armor, holy warriors, and more, these characters can accomplish truly astonishing feats of heroism through faith, and adherence to a rigorous code of honorable conduct. While there are a dozen different ways to play this class, one of the more interesting twists you can add is to multiclass your character. Because, as long as you maintain your lawful good alignment, you will also maintain all your class abilities.

Escapade Games: 'Zoe'
Whats going on guys, it's Dannis, and I’m still trying to process exactly what I just experienced. A game that I had so longed to play, has finally happened, Zoe. Let me tell you, the very first thing I heard about this game was that in the first ten days of being open, more than twenty teams forfeited their game. Zoe was too much for them to handle. Naturally I had to find out why so many people couldn’t handle it. I talked to my normal team to try and get us out there, but I was met with a unanimous, “HELL NO,” Zoe just had to wait. However, I was able to put together a different team of six to take on this game. How you might ask? By calling some friends that are escape enthusiasts, some “it's my birthday” guilt, and a whole lot of not telling them what they are walking into, until AFTER the game was booked, and we were standing outside the door.

How to Build Captain America in 'The Pathfinder RPG'
Behind the closed doors of a secret lab during World War II, American scientists in the Marvel Universe created the world's first super soldier. The formula's creator was assassinated by a Nazi spy moments after the experiment's success, but Steve Rogers was not willing to let the fact that he was one man stop him from changing the course of the war. With his signature shield, and a costume that boldly displayed the colors of his country, Captain America was born. The rest, as they say, is history.

More Like 'Dark Souls'
I know many of you are aware of the Dark Souls series, as well as Nioh and Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice. But what about other Dark Souls style games? We already have two of them take placed in Warring States Era Japan and the series itself has a medieval like setting.

Quest Room: Cannibal's Den
Whats going on guys, it's Dannis here, and I was lucky enough to get out of this sick and twisted place. I don’t even know the guy's name, nor do I ever want to. Seemed like there were others before me, before us, but they didn’t make it. I guess me and my team just knew how to work together. Sorry bud, but we are not on the menu.

New World
So, how does one design a game exactly? Well, the creative process starts with an idea, of course; once you have that idea, it’s time to start fleshing it out. My first idea was to create a race of winged horses—but that’s just the tip of the iceberg. The traditional winged horse is a pegasus, but do I really want to go that route? Maybe, or maybe I could expand it to other types of wings as well, like bat or dragon-type wings and insect—think butterfly and dragonfly—wings.
