The Evolution of 'Mario Kart'
Mario Kart is a game we all know and love, and with the latest release of the game Mario Kart 8 Deluxe selling just under 10 million copies, it is safe to say that this classic game is still much adored by gamers around the globe. Despite the popularity of the game, not everyone is aware of the long history that this game has and how much it has changed since the initial release back in 1992. Let's take a trip back in time, or as Mario would say, Lets-a-go!

Pokémon That Need Mega Evolutions!
When players thought Pokémon had nothing left in their trainer bag, they surprised fans with the introduction of the Mega Evolution mechanic. Once a player had acquired a Key Stone, they could then start hunting down rare Mega Stones, which allow certain Pokémon to tap into their full evolution power to unlock a new and powerful form. With nearly 900 Pokémon, only a small percentage received this new ability and fans have been wanting new Mega Evolutions ever since. In this article, we will look at some excellent candidates that are worthy of their own Mega Stone.

Should Nintendo Be Working on a Pokémon MMO?
Ever since players got to choose from the original trio of Bulbasuar, Charmander and Squirtle in Pokémon Red and Pokémon Blue, the world of Pokémon has evolved into a franchise unlike any other. Seven generations of the games have been released, with an eighth generation on the way, along with spin-off games diverting from the original format having also spawned over the years. It also holds a long running anime show, with over a thousand episodes and movies coming out every year, which is unprecedented for anything based on a computer game. The love for all the branches of the franchise is clear to see, so why have Nintendo not cashed in on the MMO (Massive Multiplayer Online) genre?

Unpopular Opinion: 'Majora's Mask' Is Not a Masterpiece
The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask is a groundbreaking game with incredible storytelling and characters. Move over Netflix's Bandersnatch, Nintendo was doing multiple timelines and interactive storytelling decades ago. Majora is definitely one of the most emotional Zelda games out there. There’s this constant feeling of impending doom, and a real sense of urgency. You have to succeed. You have to do everything perfect, because if you don’t, people will die. But I think that’s why I don’t really like the game.

'Breath of the Wild:' A Tale of Two Games
Similar to my article on Twilight Princess, allow me to start out by saying that Breath of the Wild is NOT A BAD GAME! I’m simply pointing out some things I think could be perfected in the next Zelda title, while building upon what already worked, to make it an even better game, in my opinion.

The 10 Best Nintendo Switch Games of 2018. Top Story - December 2018.
Another year, another 365 days of amazing games for the Nintendo Switch. That's right, I'm back at it again after compiling last year's best Nintendo Switch games of 2017 list. Last year brought us fun and beautiful experiences like The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Super Mario Odyssey, and Mario & Rabbids: Kingdom Battle. I have to admit that this year wasn't quite as good as last, but that doesn't mean there's nothing to play. In fact, some of my favorite games for the system came out this year.

'Super Smash Bros. Ultimate' Makes the Switch Worth the Money
The Super Smash Bros. series has been arguably one of the greatest games in the history of fighting games. The amount of success the Nintendo games have had over the years is astounding. Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is the newest addition to the series, and it hit shelves on December 7 exclusively for the Nintendo Switch. There was an enormous amount of hype surrounding Ultimate, however, it's fair to say that it has lived up to, and possibly exceeded, the hype with its chaotic, yet enjoyable, style of play. The Nintendo Switch has been a decent system to date with many enjoyable games to play, but Super Smash Bros. Ultimate has made buying the Nintendo Switch worth every penny (at least for me).
