Hopes for the Gen Eight Games
The Generation VIIPokemon Games marked the first time that I didn't invest any money in an upper version of a Pokemon, and there's a reason for that. For many years, many people have been wishing for new Pokemon games that offered new story lines, and a different task than the eight badges and then the Elite Four. I, for one, have never had a problem with the same story line. It guaranteed a great game every time, which is exactly why I kept buying Pokemon games. I liked the simplicity of them. How I always knew exactly what I was getting into when I purchased the game from the store.

What the 'Link's Awakening' Remake Means for the Future of Zelda
I'm really excited for the Nintendo Switch remake of TheLegend of Zelda: Link's Awakening. First of all, I have not played the original Link's Awakening, so this is the perfect time for me to give it a shot.

'Metroid: Samus Returns' Review
The Metroid franchise is one that Nintendo doesn’t quite seem to understand. There is an incredible consistency of quality throughout the entire series, save for a small handful of games fans don’t want to talk about, but in terms of the mainline 2D series and the Prime trilogy, there’s a stellar presence that could honestly put Mario and Zelda to shame. Metroid is one of the black sheep franchises Nintendo has, and they have difficulty marketing each game with increasingly less than ideal sales since Prime 2, so they unfortunately have repeatedly had to put the franchise on the shelf for a while. Thankfully, in full force, Nintendo has a new Prime game on its way and now a new 2D entry to give the constantly salivating fanbase.

'Pokemon Ranger: Shadows of Almia'
After around a year of my 3DS being broken, I finally got my hands on a working one. Going through my games, I figured I’d do another run through of the classic DS title Pokemon Ranger: Shadows of Almia. Did I regret it? Not even a little bit.
