Rishi: "We Rejected Him Weeks Ago".
Tory members Resigning Because Of Sunak.

With the rise to power of Rishi Sunak, it seems Conservative members are voting with their feet. The Tory membership did not get a vote this time around in the internal election for the Tory leader. So instead, they are resigning in droves according to Tory member Sean Matthews. Mr. Matthews has been a field worker for the Tories and President of his local Conservative association.
Mr. Matthews said members feel like they voted for Boris and got Rishi. Like the time people voted for Tony Blair and they got Gordon Brown instead. Mr. Matthews said he and other members are angry that Rishi has been dumped on them. They feel it is a coup and Mr. Sunak has no mandate to govern.
Mr. Matthews said Sunak should have the courage of his convictions and call a general election. Let the people decide who they want and not just have someone dumped on them like a dictatorship.
Mr. Matthews a former grassroots Tory said "The membership is done with Sunak. "He was rejected in the leadership race". Matthews said he and other members feel disenfranchised and so would not only be resigning their membership but joining another party.
Mr. Matthews said the parliamentary Conservative party was on the road to destruction. Rishi Sunak is responsible for the mess the party is in and the country.
With hindsight, Mr.Matthews said he would not have backed Boris. However, he said Rishi is sneaky in the way he metaphorically stabbed Johnson in the back. Sunak was a schemer and slimy from the beginning. They talk about Boris harbouring ambitions to be Prime Minister. Well, so did Sunak as soon as Boris promoted him Rishi was developing his ambitions for the top job. Sunak even produced a slick video in case the time ever came when he would succeed Boris.
Sunak is a liar and hypocrite just as bad as Boris and all that cabal. He tried to paint himself as the good guy but was in fact at the heart of the deceit and corruption. Sunak still tries to distance himself from his former boss's time in office. Something Sir Keir pointed out as he spoke to his shadow cabinet.
Mr. Jukes another Tory member said, "Mr. Sunak has no mandate and he should have the guts to call a general election". Another member observed that "It is insidious how Rishi was slid into the job. The UK will suffer for his being given the opportunity to lead".
Mr. Sunak will not be attending the COP 27 meeting in Egypt. Instead, he is staying at home to work on the financial statement alongside Chancellor Jeremy Hunt. When Hunt was Health Secretary many blamed him for making the NHS already on its knees much worse.
12 years of this Conservative government has been a literal nightmare for many. The poorest have become poorer, deprived areas have become more deprived, council budgets have become tighter, etc. Many remember the time of Mrs. Thatcher and what she did to the country. Mass unemployment, industries being run down, need I go on? However, this government from Cameron onwards has to be the worst government we have ever had in living memory.
This government started with austerity under Osborne and Cameron. Now with Sunak and Hunt, we are going back to the future. More austerity and cutbacks are to be announced in the winter statement.
As someone observed on 'Question Time' last night "how can you cut what has already been cut"? You can clearly see the state of the country after 12 years of Tory mismanagement. How much more can this country and the most vulnerable have to take? In 2022 we shouldn't be proud to have foodbanks in the 6th most wealthy nation on the planet. This is why we need a general election and a fresh direction while there is something still left of the country to save.
