Lord Vinayakar and Tamil Saint Avvaiyar - The Successful Duo

A Short Story of Lord Vinayaka said by my Mother.

A Great devotee of Lord Vinayaka and A Great Woman Saint, Sri Avvaiyar Patti, does prayers to Lord Vinayakar everyday. Once Sri Avvaiyar Patti did the prayers very quicky because there is going to be a marriage ceremony of Lord Shiva and Shakthi. Avvai Patti was eager to see the wedding ceremony.

Lord Vinayakar came to Avvai Patti and asked “Avvai, why is your prayers very quick today?”.

Avvai Patti replied “ Lord, I want to watch grand wedding ceremony of Lord Shiva and Goddess Shakhi in Mount Kailash . Everyone passing by me is asking why I am not yet there in the ceremony. I do not want to be late to the ceremony so I am chanting the prayer quickly.”

Lord Vinayaka replied “ Oh my loveable Avvai, Please take your time to do the prayers. I will take you to the wedding ceremony on the right time.”

Avvai Patti became very peaceful and started the prayers slowly and completed peacefully. Lord Vinayaka carried Avvai patti in His huge elephant trunk and placed her in Mount Kailash in a moment. People who passed her while she was praying reached Mount Kailash after her.

Trust in Lord Vinayakar always. He will put you in your right place at the right time. He is the destroyer of obstacles. He can change your life “JUST LIKE THAT” !

Avvaiyar as all Tamil people know Her by othe name Avvai Patti is the Saint of Pure Wisdom. She was born to Bhagavan (Father) and Adi (Mother). She loved Lord Vinayakar from childhood. When she reached her age of marriage, Her father agreed to marry her to a rich man's son. Her interests are only on praying Lord Vinayakar.

As per her wish, Lord Vinayakar turned her appearence from a 16 year girl to 80 year old woman. She left undisturbed by human. She spread lots of great wisdom all over South India. She is the one who made Thirukkural public in Madurai Tamil Sangam irrespective of all the obstacles.

She is a very active saint travelling from one place to another spreading wisdom of God. She explained science of mind, body and astronomy. Her songs are still in research by NASA scientists.

She wrote songs on Lord Vinayakar called Vinayagar Agaval. Its the detailed song of how to live forever. She explained how the Lord taught her how to use different breathing techniques to live forever and attain God. All her songs are mainly for the healthy mind and righteous with kindness way of living.
