Who do we truly come from?
So the Lord God caused a deep sleep to fall upon the man, and while he slept took one of his ribs and closed up its place with flesh; and the rib which the Lord God had taken from the man he made into a woman and brought her to the man. (Genesis 2:21-22)

Who the Hell is Nicolas Flamel?
Okay, so if you're like me a 90's baby, you'd probably first heard of Nicolas Flamel through Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone (2001). Well, you wouldn't believe it, but the chap was indeed real. So who is he? And why are so many of us captivated by the legend that is Flamel? Well, Nicolas Flamel was a French Philosopher born 1330/40 (as no one is entirely sure). The legend says Flamel achieved every alchemist's dream, allegedly creating the Philosopher's Stone and thus the Elixir of life. A healing stone that gifts immortality. Although records show Flamel died in 1418, it does not say how. Even though he designed his own headstone and dated it with the year 1416?

"Well...this is terrifying"
As I embark on my most ambitious writing venture yet, I have discovered things that I wish my readers to pay attention to. I am currently gathering research for my Master of Arts Dissertation in International Relations and European Politics, at one of the most uncertain times of modern human history. If you'd rather live in ignorance and bliss (good for you, know that I envy you), then take the blue bill and stop reading here. Ok, here goes...

Nature of Destruction
The Earth is 4.5 billion years old (assuming you hold true to science and believe in the evolution of the cosmos), and, if stretched out over a mile, then the 6,000 years of modern human history would encompass less than one-eighth of the final inch. Yet, in those six millennia, the human race has accomplished wonders unlike anything the world has ever seen… but it’s also committed acts so heinous that it makes us wonder if we truly are a benefit to this planet that we call home. How is it then, in all of the millions and billions of years of Earth’s existence, that a species of animal has arisen to cause so much strife and despair in the face of so much wonderment and ingenuity? Why are humans such a dichotomy of good and evil, of love and hate, of the simple and the complex?

Is NewsBreak for you? I read a number of articles about NewsBreak prior to becoming a contributor and found out that much of the information was now outdated. What I am about to share could become obsolete one day but in August 2022 it is still relevant.
