Who do we truly come from?

The bible says we are children of eve but was she really who we think she were?

By Stelly-Angel Published 3 years ago 4 min read

So the Lord God caused a deep sleep to fall upon the man, and while he slept took one of his ribs and closed up its place with flesh; and the rib which the Lord God had taken from the man he made into a woman and brought her to the man. (Genesis 2:21-22)

Eve. The first woman made by the Abrahamic God, under the religion of Christianity, Judaism and, Islam. She was was believed to be one who started humanity, we are all descendants of her. She was God most divine creation, right? Innocent, born sinless and lushed with remarkable beauty, her words were soft as were her touches. She was born to serve and please man, sounds like the perfect woman huh.

What if I asked you to describe her for me, you most likely would describe her how you see beauty, the most perfect beautiful woman right? Take a minute to think of what God's most divine creation looks like.

What does her hair look like? Is it straight and blonde? Or maybe brown with tight curls? What about her eye? Do you think they're bright sky blue? Or a dark luscious brown? Her body, what about that? Nice skinny and slender body with no body hair, zero stretch marks unbroken and long nails, with perfectly large shaped breast? Or the exact opposite.

Do you think she was white?

Or could she have been black?

I know that's a lot of questions for you, but bare with me I'm getting to the point. But, before that one more question.

Have you ever heard of the Eve gene? whether your answer is yes or no I'll be explaining to you all what it is and why exactly it matters. But, a little later.

I asked you think about what Eve looks like, I'd like to know how exactly you perceive her. I'd imagine you saw her as perfect if not. Here's some ground-breaking news folks there is no such thing as utter perfection, just natural things that go well together. Blonde hair, bright blue eyes seems like a perfect combo doesn't it? Now put it on someone whose facial features don't fit blonde hair and blue eye. It's not all that perfect anymore.

Perfection doesn't exists, only natural things that go well together do. I hope you see where I'm going with this.

What I'm trying to say is Eve was not perfect In any sort of way, she was just born with natural features that go well together. That includes stretch marks, body hair ( yes that indeed does mean armpit hair), thunder thighs, broken nails, yellow teeth and everything else that is completely natural but the social construct in todays society says the naturals we have are "Imperfections"

So your thought of Eve being the most perfect being, is most likely incorrect. Even if you imagine her completely natural, she is not perfect, just natural.

I asked before, do you think she was white? And, do you know what the eve gene is?

The answer for the first question is no. She was not white and by explaining what the eve gene is, you'll know why and hopefully agree with me or at least consider she may not have been white.

Scientifically, the black woman is the only organism that possess the mitochondrial DNA that has all the variations possible for every different kind of human being on this earth when the DNA of a black woman mutates, all other types of human beings come along. This is called the "Eve gene" and it can only be found in black woman.

The Eve gene is a theory that stems from ‘mitochondrial Eve’, who geneticists claim lived between 100,000 and 200,000 years ago in southern Africa. However, the concept has been taken another way, with many claiming the gene can produce a baby with any hair colour, eye colour and skin colour.

To simplify it, a black woman contains the eve gene a DNA that contains all variations of every human being, this includes hair colour, eye colour, skin colour and, any other features that make up a human being. A black woman with dark skin, 4c hair and dark eye, can give birth to a white baby with brown hair and blue eye, an east Asian baby with short black and straight hair, an albino baby white pale skin and red eye, even a ginger haired baby. Incredible isn't it!

We like to believe Eve was the first woman, the mother of humanity. You would think if she were one race she could only give birth to her own, and every other race would be fake and inhumane, that's what white supremacists believe.

If she was white, she would only give birth to white babies therefore all other races are fake and not made perfectly by God! (I like to read this in a Texan accent, makes the whole thing funnier)

But that wasn't the case, if she were black she would have given birth to all sorts of babies!

There are plenty of other theories that back up and go against my words, for example, Eve was the first woman. But, not the only. In my knowledge it doesn't say that God did not create more humans like Adam and Eve after them. So, God could have made different humans different races but, I'm sure that would bring in another huge debate of which race was the first? Because that for some reason would mean the first race created was and Is the most supreme.

There Is also another theory that white people did not exists in early human times. But, again. That would just open up another debate and a lot of angry people. So, we'll leave that for another day.

But, what do you think? Are we the children of Eve? Was she white of black?

And who do we really come from?
