Star Wars is a science fiction franchise set in a universe far far away.

'Solo: A Star Wars Story' Movie Review (Spoiler Edition)
When I walked into to see this movie, I was astonished to see that the theatre was almost completely empty. I double checked my ticket, convinced that I was at the wrong theatre. After all, this was no ordinary Hollywood flick: it was a Star Wars movie, for crying out loud! The seats should be filled with eager audiences chattering about what they expected from the movie and how it would change the rapidly expanding lore of the revitalised franchise. However, to my great dismay, for the entirety of Solo: A Star Wars Story, the theatre was only filled to one-fourth of its maximum capacity. After seeing the movie, however, I understood why, but at the same time, I felt like its not really the movie's fault.

Spoiler Review: 'Solo: A Star Wars Story'
After years of rumours, actor hunting, and behind the scenes problems, Solo: A Star Wars Story finally hit cinemas worldwide last week. The only question is... did it live up to expectations? If you don’t want the big points of the film ruined for you before you go to see it, turn back now! Although the chances of you turning back at this point are probably like... hey, no, I’ll never tell you the odds. Wink, wink. Nudge, nudge. No, seriously, consider this your warning to remain spoiler free.

'Solo: A Star Wars Story' Review
If you haven't seen it yet, a word of warning, but why are you reading this? Spoilers! Nowadays I go into the cinema with the same expectations as I would when going to the bathroom with a box of popcorn and a diet cola. Don’t get me wrong, I enjoy watching movies, but I also enjoy relieving myself.

Can We Tone Down the 'Star Wars' a Bit?
Solo was an odd experiment from the Disney and the Star Wars universe. Granted, the character of Han Solo quickly became a favourite among fans for his down-to-earth personality and the fact that he was the only "normal" main character in the saga.

The Hunt for the Hunter: 10 Actors Who Could Star in the Boba Fett Solo Movie. Top Story - May 2018.
Ever since the resurgence of Star Wars, fans have been begging for a Boba Fett solo movie, and it seems that the time has finally come. Back in 2014 this movie was rumored to happen with director Josh Trank and Michael B. Jordan as Boba Fett, but after the disaster that was Fantastic Four, it came as no surprise that the whole project was scrapped. However, it seems that under the steady hands of Logan director James Mangold, the film will finally come to fruition. With no actors rumored to be attached to the project yet, that leaves a clean slate to start from, and I think I have a few select people who could play the part uniquely well.

Movie Review: Solo: A Star Wars Story
After a year of behind the scenes drama that threatened to sink the project, Solo: A Star Wars Story has arrived in theaters. Famously, the directing duo of Lord and Miller were fired from Solo: A Star Wars Story following creative clashes with producer Kathleen Kennedy and screenwriter Lawrence Kasdan. Ron Howard was brought in to salvage the project and wound up reshooting most of the movie.

How ‘Solo: A Star Wars Story’ Fails to Capture the Ethos of the Franchise
Han Solo, intergalactic smuggler and sometime rebel hero, is an icon of science-fiction cinema loved by many around the world. Yes, aspects of his personality are problematic, but fans have either chosen to ignore them or have accepted them as just a(nother) troubling inclusion in the beloved franchise. Like most Star Wars heroes, Solo’s origins are shrouded in mystery. But, in the hands of Disney, no character is safe from an origin story. Solo is just the beginning.

'Star Wars Rebellion' PC Game Review
Amongst my many forays into strategy games and science-fiction universes, Star Wars has been a topic—much like Dune—which raises its head over and over again. Understandably so, Lucas Arts and Lucas Film produce such copious amounts of product that one might spend their lifetime enjoying and understanding it all. As such, it was with great pleasure that—when preparing to do a review series on games from 1998—I happened across Star Wars: Rebellion.
