fact or fiction
Is it science fact or science fiction? Futurism presents both sides to determine the truth.
Angel Fall
I fell. Through miles of empty sky I fell, my angelic armor strengthening gravity's hold, propelling me faster. With it's thrusters off, I was another dead hunk of debris filling the sky. Through my visor I can see tumbling sky, changing from serenity to war and back again. My reverie was only broken when warning lights began to flicker, and then the buzzers came, surrounding me with madness.

Sun Kings
The Sun so bright shined upon you on the day that you were born. It’s warmth enveloped you and protected you without you even knowing. A rare and rich gift from whom the sky? Does it matter from where the grand sun came from? Yes, it does. Without it there is no us and without us there is no it. Each one of us is touched by it like mentioned before at birth. How did we so easily figure out how to harness its power? Some say alien influence but are we the aliens or are they?

Hardly Working
Hardly Working I got to work a couple minutes late. There was a huge accident on the highway and traffic was backed up for miles. Or at least that’s what I was going to tell the manager. I hopped out of my car and walked as fast as I could up to the building. The automatic doors slid out of the way as I sped into the supermarket and nearly ran into a group of my coworkers. None of them noticed.

The Truth about Unidentified Flying Objects
There have been many UFO sightings over the years but did you know... The first well-known UFO sighting was in 1947. A business man by the name of Kenneth Arnold claimed to see a group of nine high speed objects near Mount Rainier in Washington when he was flying his small plane. Arnold estimated the speeds of the crescent-shaped objects as several thousand miles per hour. Arnold said they moved "like saucers skipping on water." In the report that followed it was mistakenly stated that the objects were saucer-shaped hence the name flying saucers.

Behind the Waterfall
Feeling the sharp pain down her back, she’s running through her house, towards the back door, being the smartest move she could make. Making it in just enough time, she throws open the back door and without a millisecond of hesitation, she runs through. Only her ‘backyard’ was not her backyard, it was somewhere completely different, not even remote similarities to her backyard. All of a sudden, without notice, she starts falling, and falling, for what seemed like hours. What the hell did she fall down?

Reborn
"I need a theory, there has to be a theory behind my adventures. They mean something, I know they do." The light from outside the bedroom crept through the crack under the door and shone onto the bed where young Michael, a high schooler of eighteen and the son of two farmers was lying, awake. He had been revising his reincarnations over and over again. Counting this one to be at least the ninety-fourth time he had died and come back to life, he lay there with thoughts running wild in his head.

The ‘Other’ Side Theory
Do you sit down and wonder, I mean really wonder, if a different side to our reality exists? It’d be crazy, right? The thing is, even if we all were in some sort of a real life simulation, how would we know? Maybe it is so advanced in the future to which we are all just the subjects of a simulation.

Akhenaten
One of the Pharaohs Ancient Egypt tried to erase from history, if not for his descendant Tut the world renown found pharaoh fully intact. But that’s another topic altogether. Back to Akhenaten, he ruled from 1351-1334BC, before the fifth year of his reign he was known as Amenhotep IV. He was the tenth ruler of the Eighteenth Dynasty. His predecessor Amenhotep III, his successor Smenkhkare. He was unlike any other Pharaoh, especially in his depiction. Other pharaoh’s depicted themselves very masculine with a muscle build body. But Akhenaten had himself depicted in statues , carvings, and paintings as he was a tall long face, elongated skull, feminine bottle shape body with wide thick hips as well as a pot belly and huge eyes. He looked like a hybrid of human and something else. Or maybe descendant of Atlantean.

Ep. 108 - A Little This A Little That Vol. 9
This week we took it a little easy on ourselves for research because our next couple topics are big ones. We talk about the electoral college and how/why it began. We talk about how awesome 3D printing is and just how awesome technology has become over a relatively short amount of years. Of course we hit some tangents here and there...it's what we do! So go ahead and grab yourself a beer and your favorite piece of technology (we all know it's your phone) and settle in as we bring on the weird!
