The ‘Other’ Side Theory

What is Real and what is Fake?

Do you sit down and wonder, I mean really wonder, if a different side to our reality exists? It’d be crazy, right?

The thing is, even if we all were in some sort of a real life simulation, how would we know? Maybe it is so advanced in the future to which we are all just the subjects of a simulation.

The things we see, the things we hear, the things we taste - all feel real. Perhaps this is why not many people question the ‘other’ possibilities of our world. But what do we consider ‘real’? Something that we can physically touch, or see?

What if our bodies aren’t actually real, and what we see and touch are just a matter of information travelling?

What if our world is just one giant simulation and when we die that’s how we get to the ‘other’ side, but until then, we’re just living in a large scale simulation?

There can be countless similar theories to our existence relating to simulations or where we go after death, but nothing can be proved. Not really. The countless religions that individuals believe in, they prevent them from even considering a theory like this - their beliefs in peace after death or even reincarnation.

From day 1, you learn to count, you learn to walk and talk - each of which become second nature and known over enough time. Us humans often prefer situations in which we know, and same thing applies to this ‘other’ side theory. We accept that because something feels real or because we can see something, it makes it real and that may not be the case.

Imagine you’re playing football. You place the ball, you step back and you kick it. Now did you really kick that football or was it just information processed by a specific program telling your brain that you did?

How about something crazier to think about? You go out for a nice family meal to an expensive restaurant, you sit down, you order and then you wait for the meal to arrive. You take your first bite. It’s delicious. But how do you know it’s delicious?

When we eat something that we enjoy, it’s just information being passed from the mouth to the brain. Who’s to say that this hasn’t been implemented into large scale simulations? Maybe as I’m writing this right now it’s already happened to Earth, we wouldn’t know.

It may not even be about future advanced technology that could make these large scale simulations, it might even be precursor technology - alien life.

But the biggest question now comes to mind, if we are in a simulation, what is in fact on the ‘other’ side?

If there are aliens, a simulation may be in place so that us humans don’t interfere with them or learn the potential harsh realities of an ‘other’ side. A side so incomprehensible for our tiny human minds, that it would make us insane.

And what if there was already a few people that knew they were in a simulation but couldn’t get out without ‘dying’, what would they do?

There are many videos that surface online time and time again about people such as Time Travellers, but even something as insane and unbelievable as that, still not many articles or videos expressing theories such as this are seen. Perhaps that Time Travellers will always be more believable than real life simulations or a precursor presence.

But here’s something else to think about. Even if everything is correct and death is the gateway to the ‘other’ side and out of the simulation, what if we just got placed straight back into it?This time, reincarnated as an animal, for example. Animals obviously cannot speak, yet can only warn their owners and do specific actions - meaning there would be close to zero chance of giving any warning to the remaining humans.

There are still so many possibilities out there and questions that can be asked. But the truth is, we may never know the answers to them.
