One Thing In Naruto That We Don't Talk About
Naruto is one of the most intricately crafted universes in the anime scene to date, with social, political, and economic world-building. With so much of this world to explore, there are things that are left behind by the fandom or by Kishimoto himself. One of these things being the very clan that Naruto, the main boy, hailed from.

Anime is Life, so why not Watch Seven Deadly Sins?
So Anime is life, right? Yes, exactly! You agree with me?! Cool, Cool. Let’s get into it then. I have been an avid Naruto fan ever since the beginning. Every anime fan knows Narutos death was the most heartbreaking episode in the history of anime way worse than Vegeta getting killed by Frieza. My favorite season one episode was episode seven , Assassin- Season of the Mist when Kakashi Hatake revealed his Sharingan eye to his team which was epic. My other favorite episode is when Sasuke battles his brother Hitachi and Hitachi lets Sasuke kill him! Which we later find out was to save his life because during the battle Hatachi freed Sasuke from Orochimaru spell. What selfless sacrifice and bravery! This show taught me determination and to never give up even when the odds are stacked against you! Absolutely dope! So now that I know you love Naruto just as much as I do the next best show I would suggest is Seven Deadly Sins. Seven Deadly Sins has so many elements and an extra splash of fantasy to highten the senses. Season 4 Episode 22 -War-torn Britannia. Meliodas is leading the Ten Commandments which is a group banished warriors created by a Demon King who were set up for killing the kings brother.

Retro Futurism and Telekinesis
Being an avid anime watcher like myself, I have way too many recommendations to give out on what’s the best to watch out there. I am a big fan of the late 80s feature film Akira. It circles around a biker gang leader named Kaneda trying to get back his friend Tetsuo who has been kidnapped by the government in a dystopian, futuristic, neo-Tokyo, set in what’s supposed to be 2019. When Kaneda and his gang try to take him back, they come to find out that he has psychic powers, which proves a problem for them. It’s a very action packed, visually pleasing, and sometimes even disturbing film to look at. This movie has a lot of aspects about it that you might want to search for in different titles. If you like futuristic films such as this, especially films that embody the retrofuturism of the 90s, then Blade Runner and Back to the Future: Part 2 are both excellent choices to capture that from. In one way or another, they manage to make great depictions of a what a futuristic world would have entailed from the perspective of the late 80s and early 90s, covering things from cybernetic augmentations, to vehicles, to holographic advertisements, to outlandish clothes and patterns, etc. These films accomplish the task of painting a unique, aesthetically pleasing image of the future while still conveying a very interesting plot. Blade Runner is brimming with urban and cyberpunk elements of what’s supposed to be a 90s depiction of what would come in the coming times. Even though they are set in their respective timelines. Both Blade Runner and Akira keep traditional elements for their environments. Akira, being set in 2019 Neo-Tokyo Japan, displays holographic advertisements of traditional Asian women, just like Blade Runner does with their outlook on a futuristic Chinatown in 2019 Los Angeles.

From Me to You
Adult Swim, do you remember, because I sure do. Late nights sneaking to the living room, dead at night while the world is sleeping, to catch my favorite anime movie or episode. Heart racing, hands clammy, the television turned to the lowest volume possible so as not to wake my mom. If I’m caught being up so late on a school night, extra chores would have been the least of my worries.

Hello, all and happy March and Women’s History Month! I tried this method of searching and it worked
If I could travel back in time and whisper one word to my younger self, what would it be? Anime! I was drastically late in boarding the anime train. However, better late than never—this saying doesn’t universally apply to every situation in life so practice at your own risk. In my youth I did occasionally dabble in: Dragon Ball Z, Pokémon, and Digimon. Sadly, such shows are merely crumbs of what makes up the anime world.

If You Liked Fruits Basket Then You Will Love Kamisama Kiss
I feel like every anime and manga buff I talk to knows of or has emersed themselves in the sweet slice-of-life known as Fruits Basket. It is an adorable animation that pulls at your heartstrings. The show seemingly wears its own mask of sickly sweetness. A façade that they address beautifully as they zoom into the ugly undertones of life. This show is every bit far fetched, but these revealing moments humanize the characters and makes them relatable to the audience. When the audience is finished, emptiness and longing for more settles heavily upon them.

Let's discuss Antisemitism in Anime
(-Disclaimer, the author of the article (myself) is not Jewish, however many of my writings focuses on brining light to issues faced by marginalized groups even if I am not apart of the. That said, I am aware that not all Jewish people will share the views written in this article, I just wanted to write about some of the things I've seen said by Jewish people. If I offend, please let me know!-)
